Dont forget that it can be loaded like a pump shotgun: shoot one, load one...shoot two, load two. That way, the rifle can be kept "topped off."

Yes, during every lull or when getting to cover (or just concealment) top off a lever action.

Optics in USA public perception is ancient old school cowboy rifle dismissed as effective weapon...watch Cowboy Action Shooting videos to see how fast lead can be sent down range. The alternative to semi-auto Evil Black Rifles, an advantage where EBRs have special registration or outright bans. Stealthy under the radar, most folks don't bat an eye seeing a cowboy movie gun. The carbines or short rifles are light, easy to handle, available in all common pistol cartridge chamberings, .38 Special/ .357 Mag to .454. Simplifying home inventory. Or . 46-70 Gov with 400+ grain loads for any NA big game. Edit: forgot about the most popular deer rifle, the venerable Wnchester/Marlin .30-.30s

@@thechancellor3715 EXACTLY!! I bought a lever action in 357 magnum as a hedge against the government in the Peoples Republic of Illinoisastan deciding that I do not need a scary black rifle. Of course my Taylor's and Company Alaskan is black but it is still not scary.

Got your second book the other day, and am about half way through it. I had gotten your first book when it first came out. I like the pictures in that second one. You have a budding career as a cartoonist, if you choose to go that direction. Lots of useful info in both books. The second book reads real easy and gets right to the point. No wasting page space with fillers on philosophy and other stuff. I'll be getting more copies for my kids.

I watched so many videos that did not teach how to load unlike u did. Thank u. It was easy and to the point. U da man homie.

Nice Model 94 Fernando.....Those rifles chambered in .357mag can also fire .38 Special.. that's a big advantage...You kinda gotta watch out working the lever fast or you'll impale your trigger finger...

In every lever action demo, the lever is always cycled at maximum speed and there's never a clear, close shot of the hand that's operating the lever. Sigh. When I get mine, I guess I'll figure it out on my own.

You what? It's not rocket surgery. The lever moves forward, ejects a spent casing, lever moves back, it cycles a new round in. Seeing his hand won't show you anything, most of the shit going on is inside the gun.

When you get one you’ll see it’s pretty easy and straightforward. You really just move your hand down/ forward and it’ll move the inner mechanisms
