@@junkioncraftsandbuildsthanks so much🙌🏼🙌🏼
Big sheets of thin card (plain white or coloured) can make great seamless backdrops for toys. Used metal baking trays have a great mottled texture for backgrounds. Celeriac root makes amazing-looking weird alien plants. Mirrors or mirror tiles part- covered with sand or flour look like swamp environments. Long twists of tissue paper twirled between the fingers during a long exposure look like columns of smoke. Miniature fairy lights dragged through a scene during a long exposure look like bolts of electricity.

Yeah, I can relate. It’s only recently that I kind of started liking it and more so for video. But I can see how people like it and it’s growing on me. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

I appreciate it Paul! Thank you
i am wondering how all these background will look in few seconds stop motion video, that would be cool, something like creating just "signature moves" of all the characters.
@amusingking

That would be cool! Most of them should work for sure for stop motion. That’s something I’ve been wanting to do, but I just need time haha
Just the video I've been looking for, excellent ideas my friend.

This is one thing I struggle the most with. I have 2 dios I got from extreme sets and I pretty much wore them out already with different ideas I have the same building you have, and I have set it up so many different ways. It does get discouraging when you're wanting to set up a scene and you don't have the right background to tell the story. You had some good ideas though. I'll have to try just using a black backdrop, it sucks though if you don't have the props to fill the scene. Another good video idea brother keep up the good work!

That's cool you have some Extreme Sets, but yeah, that's another thing is using them too much haha. And yeah, props can be another struggle to figure out as well. Hope you can think of some creative ideas to experiment with!
Good tips man. I made a few dios and i painted cup holders to make rocks effect. Poster board are great too

Great vid and tips. Your tutorials have been very helpful in helping me think a bit more abstract about things to use for the bgs and dios.

Thanks!! And that’s awesome, thinking a bit more abstract is definitely something important for toy photography.
Nice 👍🏾 and excellent ideas! But alert everyone that once you make your diorama you need to make a space to storage all the things you look and see that you can use it later for something 😂😂

lol it’s something that must be discovered on their own 😂 but yeah, I guess that’s a negative with making your own. I’m trying to be more efficient about that
