Beginner Toy Photography | Simple lighting & Atmosphere

In this week's video, I take a Stormtrooper model and use simple & cheap lighting and add atmosphere to the image with smoke & sparklers.
I also show you how you can use a TV or monitor to add a background to your photo to enhance the scene further.

    @@CharlesPalmerPhotography I enjoy taking pictures outside so I would be interested in interesting places to take photos plus how to compensate if the lighting is not ideal. My computer is far too slow to do anything useful on so I do all my pictures/editing on my phone.

    Nice work my bud. I didn’t know you can get these types of matches. They do give a lot of smoke. Fantastic step by step on how you created this image.

    Cheers mate, yeah I was just trying an alternative to buying a smoke machine. I tried making it with glycerine and it didn't work for me.

    Nice effect. I used to try different photos on a monitor as background but create my own to avoid any copyright issues using photos downloaded from the net. Have you had any similar experiences?

    I'm only really making images for personal use, so I've not had an issue - but if I was doing this for commercial reasons then yes, I'd suggest making your own background 🙂

    Use G.I.M.P. its free. and its exactly the same as photoshop.
