Yeah pretty interesting but you have to teach us how to get that PERFECT spawn for the Aachen Chapel, it NEVER happened to me like this 😂😂😂😂

There are guides on Aachen Chapel spawns out there, but as a rule of thumb: to maximize resources gathered with the influence, prioritize wood. To achieve the fastest possible age-up, prioritize gold. Hope that helps :)

Thank you for your videos! This is the best educational AoE 4 channel so far in my opinion. 2:30 I think it makes sense to garrison and instantly release vills on sheep instead of shift-clicking them, as they will lose efficiency from clumping together trying to gather all from the same sheep at the same time. Though it might still be neglectable in late Dark Age.

but doesnt it gather from the sheep after you take them out of the tc? or do they all go onto nearby sheep carcasses

@@jasonyun1158 They return to the carcasses they have been gathering from. Which means if they were split between carcasses, shift + right click will send them all onto the same one carcass, while garrison + return to work command keeps them splitted.

Rly nice bulid, i used to go fc with hre most of the time untill recently when i discovered that u can just spam trash mix maa in feudal and just overwhem ur opponent they usualy dont expect that.

For the early aggro civ that dont over commit on feodal (Abbasid military wings / french; rus that have one or two knights, English spears longbows) do you recommand to make units or just a tower on the gold ? And what to do if the opponent is making A LOT of units feodal ? Like ottomans and delhi, do you recommand to do archers sometimes or its almost never a good idea as HRE ? Last question for matchup, How to counter a china barbacan rush ? And the best way to deal with a mongol tower rush on gold ? ( For this one i often take my gold far away but i know that if the opponent is clever he will use some units to deny that too, i think there is other way but dunno what is better ) Sorry for all this questions, but i only plays HRE and i struggle a lot with early agressions even if i scout and i know what will happend. By the way, thanks a loot for the guide, i used to make 3/5 wood when i fast castle, with this build i will be very fast for sure !

When you drop down your Aachen Chapel, send all but 3 vills to wood. The 3 vills go on food to keep up villager production. Now when you age up, you will have gathered enough wood to build at least 2 production buildings. :)

Thank you for this guide! How do you react when they send early archers/horesemen? Or if an Otto player sends quick spearmen to idle your gold?

Scout the construction of range/stable and then collect resources for a tower + upgrade

If there are spearmen from otto, just use your prelate to heal and vills to defend (although don’t idle for too long). Then build tower

Mining camp between gold and stone would be better, or?

How can you counter such a fast age up? Their units will be way better than yours if you stay feudal, but you can't get to castle faster than them? Just follow them to castle or fight in feudal?

That works as well, but would also require a stable food income and a blacksmith with +1 ranged armor, so you can immediatly begin researching +2 ranged armor on age up. I advise going 2tc on boar/deer if you want to go for Burgrave Palace, in order to minimize production downtime.

This is an old video ik. But pretty sure I was just smashed by someone using this method but with man at arms. 6 min fast castle it felt ridiculous to go against

i enjoy meinwerk as first landmark and going straight to castle with regnitz. its about 20-~30 seconds later for the age up but allows you to research +2/+2 for your knights and with the gold flowing from regnitz and reduced basic blacksmith upgrades combined allows you to have ridiculously strong knights that are unkillable by TC at 7 minutes

@@Valdemar1902 i agree but I think there is value in the +2/+2 unique upgrade and the discounted upgrades for really strong knights have merit. ofc chapel has value overtime but the timing push and raids from +4+4 knights are not easily counterable especially if the opponent hasnt aged to castle.

I tried this but with burger maa rush against the hardest ai and I stomped them. I know, hardest isn't very good but I am noobsauce.

Tried it in some 3V3 and actually some slow opponent went feudal after i went castle KEKW

You can also save a relic and build an aggressive Keep with 8-12 villagers near the enemy base and put the relic inside.

Isn't build time doubled with the second vill? How can it be faster to jump off half way through?

It is not about getting it up as fast as possible. It is to make the vills more effective. In this scenario if you only had 1 vill building and the other one gathering, the gathering Vill would have gathered enough and started heading to tc because the mine is not done. And if you but both to rush it up you would miss out on the resources the one vill would have gathered. So take the one vill off building halfway through to gather would make it so that the mine camp vill get done as soon as the vill gathering is done.

For each villager constructing a building, the efficiency of each villager after the first one decreases. :)
