Too bad they don't know how. They'll learn after they destroy that diesel by getting water in the intake, of bust those stock Hummer weak front axles. Bad thing about a Hummer is that independent front suspension makes for weak spots that a Jeep, or a Pickup don't have. Guys who are into off roading, know you need stronger U-joints and stiffer axles.

Yep - and another Top Tip: Don't change gear in the water. Clutch plates say "NO!" Great vid tho.

Ethan Foster still have to be careful taking jeeps through water like that. A lot of people think these jeeps are bulletproof to all terrain. I know a few jeep owners who wrecked their jeeps going through water.

When you’re tire is spinning like that in a hummer put one foot on red brake and one on end accelerator. As you release the brake apply the accelerator until you start to move. It’s called brake / throttle modulation, it’s kind of a primitive traction control system. The hummer loves water. Love the videos. I miss my hummer now.

Love the fact you guys got Hummer H1s, I drove these in the army and we enjoyed testing their limits. I would suggest you guys take the new Hummers to Moab, Utah and hit the trails, its amazing.

It really depends on how much water got in there. Although if he would have gotten to much it would have hydrolocked. While it's not great for it a little bit isnt going to hurt anything.
