I have a new Dmax on order so this was useful info. Definitely a Snorkel , Breather Kit and Fuel Filter kit would be high on my list

Very nice build. Love the bull bar, wish I could get one in Canada. Snorkel for sure and maybe a discreet 180 awnning.

Great modification on new DmaX and it is more nicer and very aggressive truck.

Nice job, looks great. I'm about to recieved my new Dmax and start my build. I'm sick of not having full access into the back of my 4bys so I've gone the aluminium tray option to wack an ally canopy on. Love those rims. 👍👍

Is the Dmax roof rated for 100kg from the factory? Not the roof rack.

Looks nice 👍 have you fitted a seal kit to the tailgate? How do you keep dust out of the canopy

Great looking build, I rate the wheels the offset is just perfect 👌 Would like to see a price break down on the cost of the build

Perhaps set the draws on one side and double stack them then have fridge sitting lower and have the entire setup on a tub slide making it much easier to reach items up the back

This is a great project and provides some valuable insight for anyone wanting to build on a D-Max. Your recent 4x4 of the year (2022) didn’t have the D-Max amongst the finalists, being out played by the Ranger. Where would this modified D-Max stand in terms of the 4x4 of the year assessment criteria? Has it closed any of the gaps identified in the earlier review?

Great set up, I'm waiting for my 2022 xterrain coming in Aug. Going to be set up with an 18ft6 offroad caravan. I am keen on the maxxis tyres as well and interested on your opinion on fitting the A/T or the M/T . Touring will be mostly sealed roads but intend on plenty offroad camping and dirt roading.

I got mine in February, you're going to love it. What colour did you go with? I'll most likely be following this exact build except for the tyres and wheels, plus I need a snorkel. I'm sure the wheels and the tyres are fine but the ones I have in mind I find to be more aesthetic, if anyone has any suggestions on what snorkel you would or have gone with, let me know. I'm looking at a stainless steel snorkel at the moment but I hear they whistle a lot so my opinion may change. Cheers.

The Fuel rims look great, nice choice. In fact, I'd like a set. Did you keep the standard +33 rim offset?

What model mirrors are the msa mirrors. Did the orginals have indicators.

With today's technology an amazing after market support i would definitely fit a proper 33s (285/75R17). An a RTT off course.,. Swags are okay but it has more cons tha pros. RTT does got some cons but got more pros... In my humble opinion.

Mate, what about the rear bumper and a tow hook. There's not much clearance with long rear. The departure angle must be bad. Why isn't there a tyre and couple of jerry carrier at the back? With that installed you can chuck in a long range fuel tank in place of the original spare wheel carrier place. Tyres are too small for my type. Would have gone for a couple of inch taller tyres and do everything necessary to be done, so that those tyres won't rub. Being and IFS bigger tyres would help a lot with not much of an articulation. I hate the rear outer parts seriously. Don't need a very special front bull-bar if the back bumper's gonna stayed the same(stock)

Must be just built for videos and magazines…… what do you cook with and where’s your bench space. Unless you don’t camp without a camper or caravan?
