4th Of JULY on the RIVER in BLYTHE We get DESTROYED while TUBING! 51 Year Old JET BOAT still RIPPS!
First couple of days on the water in Blythe California along the Colorado River for the 2024 4th of July celebration. We finally tow a tube behind our 51 year old Sleek Craft jet boat. Then we get absolutely destroyed tubing behind my cousins boat. Never bet someone they can't throw you off..... Stay tuned for the second half of the weekend.

Can I make a suggestion on using that ski tow, bring your rope under the center ring through the center and over the hook. Just over the hook like you had it it can slide off. Looping it like I described it can't come off no matter which direction it's pulled. I have a place at Lost Lake if you ever come that far up river.

What’s the specs on your float!?
How does the AC in the RV hold up in that heat? How cold does it get inside?

It’s done really well. We leave both AC’s running non stop. They are set to 68 degrees and I’d say during a the day it feels damn cool compared to outside temperatures. Maybe low 70’s but hard to say. At night they reach temp and shut off and kick back on while we sleep.
Soo dangerous, we had two guys on one raft. They both fell off but one of the guys hit the other with his knee on his face and knocked him out cold. BTW prop boats are not made for the river. That's what jet boat are for.

Definitely dangerous. Sorry to hear that. Hope everyone was ok in the end. We all know what the risks are when we sign up for a good time. Just need to be willing to deal with the consequences. Plenty of depth for the prop boats and there are plenty of them on the river. Just a quick turn around over the wrong spot it is all. I’ll definitely keep rocking the jet though 😂
