札所１番から３４番まで全ての道程を徒歩で歩きました。
I walked the entire route from Fuda-sho No1 to No34.
大きなわらじがかけられた仁王門と境内にある1300余体の石仏が有名で「石仏の寺」と呼ばれています。また奥の院の岩屋の崖の礫岩層と蛇紋層の不整合でも有名です。
It is famous for its Niomon gate with a large straw sandal draped over it and the 1,300 stone Buddha statues in the precincts,
and is called the “Temple of Stone Buddhas.”
It is also famous for the unconformity between the conglomerate layer and the serpentine layer of the Iwaya Cliff in inner sanctuary.
今回は札所4番の高谷山・金昌寺をお参りし、巡礼道を通って札所5番へ向かいました。
