Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is often referred to as a city, but technically, it is a financial and lifestyle district within Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines. While it has many features of a city, such as its own distinct urban planning, infrastructure, and services, it's officially part of Taguig City administratively.
BGC is considered as the most modern district in the Philippines and it is certainly one of the leading modern cities in Southeast Asia. Its well-planned urban development, contemporary architecture, robust business environment, and lively lifestyle amenities make it highly regarded. However, whether it's the absolute "best" modern city would depend on various factors and individual preferences.

relaxing, beautiful and clean
I have a condo in BCG and a house in LA, and I prefer staying in BGC.
More trees in BCG. It requires 9 to 10 mature trees/person to support his/her oxygen requirements and to capture pollution in the metro. More people more trees.
BGC has a relaxing vibe and atmostphere unlike other CBDs that feel hectic and stressful. BGC is unique like that.

@lizagalvez3019 wdym? Metro Manila badly needs a public transport rail system. Have you been to bgc? It's nice when we talk about a walkable city design but it doesn't mean the absence of a good public transport system, which is almost the case in bgc. The P2P bus system around bgc is sh*t and barely caters to the demand. Everyday there's a long line and traffic jams are starting to pop up here and there. It shows that rather than being a walkable city, it is car-centric like every where in the Philippines. People doesn't have to option for a public transport so they opt for using their cars.

You can make most modern, cleanest &most place there. You are best cityland and you are different city. You own the cityland in NCR here. Fullest people walk most popular in the cityland. 😊

BGC is where I hope to relocate once I retire. SSI will allow me to have a very nice one bedroom condo there and leave half of my monthly income in comparison to living here sa States my entire SSI will be used up in an apartment.

Nahiya naman sau ang Forbes park at Dasma Village na katabi mismo ng BGC 🤣🤣🤣 at bka mahiya sau ang mga Embo barangays na ang mga bahay ay multistory 🤣🤣🤣 nag mukha lng silang squamy dahil naitabi ke BGC. I think ang slum lng dyan ay yung katabi ng SM Aura. 🤣🤣🤣 Tsaka ang Singapore at Dubai hindi nman buong area ay Business District. Ikumpara ba nman ang BGC na isang CBD lang sa isang Bansa? 🤣🤣🤣 maski ang America ay hindi mukhang buong Newyork!! May mga homeless at squamy din. 🤣🤣🤣 May bansa ba na buong lugar nila ay CBD??? Yong mga modern cities kasi like Dubai and Singapore... Consistent kasi sila na modern city hinde parang BGC na portion Lang Ng metro Manila... Tsaka mga high speed trains gamit nila doon at magaganda mga buses

Paano ngng best modern city ang bgc,the whole metro manila ang daming slums squater at ska mdumi, at ung mga building ng metro manila ang boring straight up ung desingn square at box wlang kadesign design wlang futuristic building at wlang iconic tower,lack of infrastructure pa hahaha. Sa laki ng metro manila 5% lng ang mganda diyan realtalk.. mas mganda pa mga building sa bangkok jakarta kuala lumpur ksi ung mga design building nila very stylish pinagisipan ung design sa atin nganga boring..
Fake city but good vibes 😅
I know Filipino style, they look good in the outside but rotten in the inside. BGC is marvelous, it’s all nice and to show- off to the world that, we have some nice stuff here or better but in reality we are still corrupted and not putting Filipino livelihoods first. We have alot of poor families that have no running water or electricity. Philippines use to be first in Asia back in the 50’s and 60’s. Government here are photo copy of US government. The politicians get richer and the majority of the people get poorer. A lot of this influences are from the western countries. God help our kapatid at community sa lahat ng bansa. If you understand this, you are a true Filipino spirit. MABUHAY ang Pilipinas.🇵🇭🫶🏼
