48v Razor MX350 -How I Installed The Motor/Controller/Battery/14t Sprocket Speed Runs w/ MPH @

Razor MX350 - How I installed everything! 14t Sprocket Installed. Speed Runs w/ MPH overlay @ 4:20.
For the Experts who have something to say on how I installed it? I’ll say this…… I was FULLY PREPARED to cut & weld this motor in place. But after trying this out for the past couple weeks, I’m satisfied it will stay in place. Especially with the other 2 bolts screwed down. The angle doesn’t bother me at all. It’s not gear to gear. It’s chain to sprocket. Saved a lot of hassle & time doing it like this. And honestly, just as clean in my opinion. I’ll get a 15t sprocket on at some point and get a video up on it.🍻

    You can add a extra 12v battery, connected by the motoer after the esc. I have one on a switch, so I have normal mode, and high speed, but switched on high you cruise on 12v with no throttle, then add your main power with throttle.

    Yeah. Not yet no. I was thinking about buying an rsf350 rear wheel assembly for it. That comes with a rotor and a metal piece that goes on the rear axle and acts as a hook for the caliper mount. The only thing the mx350 would be missing is the metal nub that sticks out, that that hook then hooks on to. So if you can just mount some sort of rod or screw to act as that nub the rsf350 has, something that is solid and won’t move, you’re golden. I may try it at some point soon and show what I mean. Hope that made sense.🙏💯🍻

    how diud you connect the battery to the controller did you have to buy a adapter?

  • @KruseNStuff

    @KruseNStuff

    Жыл бұрын

    There is a couple of things you can do. Cut the battery ends off of controller, strip the wire ends & either solder the connector that matches your battery’s connector to the controller ends you stripped. Or you can use the extra wire with connector that usually comes with your battery & solder the wires from that to the controller ends you stripped. Or if you don’t know how to solder and don’t have anyone to do it for you, you can use butt splices with heat sinks. Which is similar. Cut the battery ends off of controller, strip them & butt splice that end to the battery ends I mentioned before. Crimp it on both sides, then use a torch to heat sink it. Works just fine for these setups.💯🍻

    What’s up man. Everything I put in is in the description. Very Simple. All plug and play except for the battery connection. If you plan on going to 48v from 24v and want to run 4 lead acid batteries. You’d need 2 more. You can get the 48v kit with battery harness already ready, making it full plug and play. Or if you want to run a Lipo, you would have to solder the right connector on the controller to match the battery of your choice. The motor is also plug and play.

    Both do. As does the controller. But you don’t have to change your motor. You can OverVolt your stock 24v motor. Just need an upgraded controller/throttle and either an extra 12v battery or a 36v Lipo. In this video, I changed the motor to a 36v motor so I overvolted it to 48v. Controller/throttle and battery. What are you trying to do? That would be a good place to start.

    Would it work if I kept the motor stocked and just get a 48 V battery how fast would I get in that because my goal is to go fast also you have to add a new throttle?

    Nice. Just keep in mind with higher speeds, you will need to slow down quicker. The drum brakes aren’t enough. Plus no suspension. Get you an mx650 to put it in when you’re done. You won’t be disappointed. I was going to make it 72v also but decided to go all out on a more comfortable option.💯🙏🍻
