After a failed single was released on Zell Sanders' J&S label, in 1956, Freddie Scott had three releases for Bow/Arrow labels. Dating these are kind of tricky but, I feel all three were rushed out pretty quickly. His first two Arrow single credit "Freddie Scott & The Chimes" and came out during the winter of 1957-58. He would have a few more single for labels like Joy and Enrica before scoring with his first release on Colpix, "Hey Girl."
The Chimes here on these Arrow sides are a Knoxville, TN group that recorded for Savoy, as The Five Pennies (1955-56), and Sue, as The Four Jokers (1958).
