Sometimes, you stumble upon a record that you are shocked no one else has shared before. Let's hope it isn't on KZread because it is a rare side that has yet to be discovered by the masses and not because of the "copywrite police." Here goes...
After a failed single was released on Zell Sanders' J&S label, in 1956, Freddie Scott had three releases for Bow/Arrow labels. Dating these are kind of tricky but, I feel all three were rushed out pretty quickly. His first two Arrow single credit "Freddie Scott & The Chimes" and came out during the winter of 1957-58. He would have a few more single for labels like Joy and Enrica before scoring with his first release on Colpix, "Hey Girl."
