Fantastic! Thank you for uploading. Someone needed to do some tree-pruning by the gates with all of that wonderful, fresh green paint risking being scratched!
What a beautiful loco, straight out of the box. I would love to visit the heritage centre one day.
Very nice to see Phil cheers Steve ..
Looks fantastic, what a great job and i enjoyed the 40 action on your vid too.
It's made my day, seeing two gorgeous locomotives. The BRUSH type 4 is STUNNING. Great video 👍♥️♥️♥️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
oohh great to see these together! So nice to see D213 now registered for the main line! I was absolutely taken with her when she visited my local Swanage Railway diesel gala a few years ago.

@@philclarke3203 yes Phil, my school sports field backed onto the Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton line, in 73 I saw a double headed 31’s on light engine that was an experience seeing those, but 213 I first saw in 71 at Shrewsbury engine sheds, there was usually 5/6 class 40s a few brush and bo bos Oh to go back and do it all again
Beautiful Machines!

Certainly are.
Delivered in style. Great memories of these from my youth, especially liked the hesitation at the 'bushy entrance' lol. That bush needs a trim. Cracking views, access all areas, some great vantage shots there Phil. Managed to blag a tour around Llangollen shed last weekend, if you dont ask, you dont get lol. Bit of Shunting going on. Let me and the lad in the cab and engine room of there 47, cab interiors recently painted. Looking very clean and smart. No funding, but still alive and kicking. Still worth a trip if you get the time. Big thumbs up, all the best Phil. 👍😎🐢

Thanks Ian. Yes those bushes are my job for next week didn't want to scratch the paint work! A bonus at Llangollen, really hope they can get through their troubles, and be back as before and better! 🤞🙂
Great looking loco's.

I didn't know they had a 1990s metrolink tram at crewe heritage center and they didn't last long before they was replaced!

@@philclarke3203 i realised after I had sent the comment its from the heaton Park collection they didn't see much life the 1 series around 20 years the 2nd series built in 1999 to 2013 i would have thought they would have kept the newer ones as I think there was only 6 built! So if they can scrap trains less than 20 years old it just shows you the money metro-link are pulling in!!!
Both look gorgeous. Great catches Phil

As a landscape gardener, I'd be happy to come and cut back those trees and hedge.
One day.... one day..... we'll be able to see great videos like this of the Metrovick moving under her own power. And, perhaps, in future the replica L.M.S. 10000!
You catch all the nice action down there Phil, nice one, looking good, cheers .

@@philclarke3203 nice! Look forward to the footage. My local line is the Mid Hants Railway (aka the Watercress Line) - we had an 11, 20, 25, 47, 50 and 2x73 running - not bad given the year we’ve had. There’s some footage in my channel if you want to check any of them out - though I’m not as good as you at getting videos - you have a great channel, glad I stumbled across it!

Great 'Classic Music' video Phil! Pity the museum don't keep the trees cutback (they did still cut trees back in the green period). Did anyone check for scratches?

Thanks. Yes, the trees do need cutting back, only thin branches, that have really grown, since last time anything came in. They'll be cut back this week.

Indeed!
Has the 40 had some work done too? Seems a little bit unique for such a simple move, not that I'm complaining. Sort of thing you'd expect another 47, or a 37 to do. Just wondering if the shuttle is to give it a short stretch of the wheels, akin to giving your car a run round the corner.
