FOUR train service!! CLASSIC Transport Event at LLANGOLLEN railway. 6th July 2024
Scenes from Saturday 6th July, the first day of Llangollen Railway's Classic Transport weekend.
Four trains were in service;
Class 47, 1566 with the diesel service.
Pannier tank 7754 with the diesel service
Class 127 / 108 and 109 with the Dmu service
Austin 1 with the shuttle

Interesting collection of buses it looked like they had there. Some noteworthy cars too (with one or two modern interlopers). I particularly liked the two Mk V Cortinas side by side. One at least looked like a Ghia 💪

Looked like a good day out apart from the early rain. The Wickham unit was a regular in my area when used as an inspection saloon

@@philclarke3203 I think so too. A lot of window area as well for a good view which could be why it was saved as an inspection unit.
