I got this on amazon for just a few bucks a couple weeks ago. Just sharpened two of my knives that had been dull after watching this video. They passed the paper test with flying colors when before neither had a chance :)

What temperature should the water be to soak the stone? Cold? Warm? Hot? Thanks in advance.

I bought that same stone, used it last night. I thought it did pretty well for $12. They sliced phone book paper nicely before I stropped the. Wouldn't shave after though, still too coarse I guess.
