40 Scientific Inaccuracies from the Bible

An easy guide on how to interpret the bible, as practised by all christian apologists:- 1. Any verse that says something nice and reasonable is to be taken literally and proves how great the bible is. 2. Any verse that says something outrageous and ridiculous is just a poetic metaphor and needs to be reinterpreted to mean something different.

And every Verse where "God" demands mass murder, genocide, or to cut the belly of pregnant women open and to fetch the Fetus and smash it against a nearby rock is just an expression of "God" awesome Love and tender heartedness..... And of course EVERY Family Father is just most thrilled to butcher his only good Son so that all the shabby rotten Kids could go on his expense to Heaven.....we ALL KNOW Christians practice what they preach, lol. But all these creepy Televangelists have no scruples to put their hands into your pockets or declare some egotistical notorious Liar, Rascal & Jerk like Trump as a direct Godsend in all their spiritual and moral bankruptcy is just "business as usual" When Christ warned of all the wolves in sheep's clothing and the false preachers that would come after him he must have had a shockingly precise Vision of "Christ"ianity and all it's false Doctrines, Scriptures, Dogmas coming with an epic history of crimes against humanity and all the abuse, destruction, fraud, damage caused over almost 2 Millenia for the sake of power, money, control..

Science cannot explain the origin of the universe. The Big Bang theory is so illogical because nothing can come from nothing. Where did the matter of the Big Bang come from? What is the source of the energy that caused the Big Bang since energy can’t be created or destroyed? Did this matter exist from infinity? Matter cannot have existed without a beginning. Creation story makes more sense than the Big Bang. All the inventions we enjoy today have a beginning, cars, phones, TVs, skyscrapers etc. They were invented by intelligent humans in time from things already existing. So how can one hold that the diversity in the universe just popped up after a Big Bang without a creator. As regards evolution. Evolution doesn’t disprove creation. Existing beings may evolve. But before anything can evolve it most exist first. Now answer this is space finite or infinite? They’re many assumptions in science. Many things science cannot explain. The universe must have been created by an intelligent, supernatural, all powerful being. If you still hold on to the Big Bang show me an experiment of something coming out of nothing? You ask for prove of God. Prove to me how something like the matter or gasses of the big band can just exist from nothing. Since nothing can come from nothing there must be a creator who brought things into existence from nothing. This creator is God.

I remember growing up believing that the Bible was a mixture of mythology, Aesop's fables, and some historical truth all from the point of view of man. I was actually shocked when I realized people took it as literal truth. I still cannot believe so many do this. I found it much harder to be Christian when I tried to believe everything in the book actually happened in this way. It's actually a lot easier to believe in God when you realize His holy book wasn't written by him.

One of them was the claim that heaven exists in another "dimension" while the hell is literally in the center of the Earth. Like why... I expected the hell to just be the polar opposite of heaven. And there was no indication that in general, the Earth itself is the opposite of heaven. As little as they might like it small corner of the world only top 10 at the bottom during time of David Solomon had very little influence on the world at large. Honestly for my whole life I have wanted to trust the bible implicitly. But for me I just have noticed so many things for my self that didn't add up. But I genuinely wanted to believe it all to be true. Its been an internal struggle most of my life. I am a JW but have been inactive for several years. I don't blame anyone for wanting to believe in a creator or in the bible and if they live as better people for it good on them. I have also taken issue with many thing especially the cherry picking of carbon dating. It just always felt disingenuous to me. But ultimately there are parts of me that wish I could be simple minded and not question things. It seems like such a simple life. I used to be envious of people who could just read something and believe. Meanwhile I stay up for days at a time researching little details, I hate it. One thing that has always bothered me about religion in general is when you would pose a logical question that was very sound and had no biblical reason, you are met one of two ways. Your an apostate or you just lack faith. Now I am not here to side with one or the other. Just to give an account of someone stuck in a sort of limbo for most of my life. Its a strange place to be when you question both sides of the argument. I have watched many debates and read many articles and haven't found my self satisfied by either side. One thing I did years ago I decided to not question or care anymore just live my life the way I wanted. I have no remorse or guilt I am actually much happier living in the now. Not that I'm trying to dissuade anyone from finding a god or religion. I just remember the countless nights of not feeling good enough for my inquisitiveness. I just accepted ill never be satisfied with any answer and quit caring from both perspectives.

I was raised as a JW and left when I was around 17. As I started to fade out my mother pleaded with me to have a weekly bible study with an elder, to ease her mind I agreed. He was not an idiot and could tell that I was becoming sceptical of the whole thing. His big ace up his sleeve that proved the bible was the real deal was the verse you spoke about at 43:10 where Isiah spoke about the 'circle' of the Earth. He told me that back then everyone thought the Earth was flat, but here was Isiah, using the information he received from big J, talking about how it was round. For him, this proved that the bible was all factual truth. I looked straight up after reading this verse and said, 'but the Earth isn't a circle, it's a sphere.' 'Oh, same thing.' He says while brushing it aside. What a joke.

@@TubeSkaterRudy Naw, the bible is already completely misunderstood and not actually read through by 99.99999999% of the people that claim to believe in and worship the words within that crappy book... If you want to actually read the bible, go to Amazon and grab the "Holy Bible - Best God Damned Version - The Books of Moses" which is lot more interesting and summarized read of the Old Testament! Then if you want, compare it to the actual bible if you want to confirm it's legit and accurate! It made me laugh out loud a few times when it would tell you what's in the chapter or section of the bible, then would comment on the situation. That book was the absolute best and my most favorite book out of all the books I have read! People don't actually read the bible because it's ridiculous and obvious fiction, as well as proven without a doubt to be absolutely inaccurate, which you will know for sure by reading over and actually putting some real thought into the first paragraph of the bible. Where the author of the first section was way behind on a few very major scientific discoveries since his time... The obvious hilarity as well with the entire rest of the bible is the amount of effort that was put into trying to trick other people into believing that the people of the times fictional ideas were instead real true, when they were obviously either mentally ill or they were on a mission to obtain followers for their own groups, through manipulation using mostly scare tactics and threats, with a few really sad little parlor tricks they somehow apparently pulled off to convince some very over or under exaggerated amounts of people around them depending on the situation. So much of the bible is trying to cover and back pedal over lies that were told previously, which would either just completely contradict and change all of a sudden to something completely different with a new narrative as well, or the lies would be continuously be mentioned as a constant brainwashing reminder, but would slightly include little twists and details to bend their meaning and purpose. To be completely honest, the bibles entire content is borderline retarded, and is obviously meant to target and manipulate the massive population of like minded individuals that are unfortunately born and brought up into the areas that the bible is worshipped, and the same goes for all of the other 4000+ other gods and 4000+ other worshipped religions that parents continue to abuse or allow their children to abused by others with, from the earliest of ages! Good luck letting someone grow up completely void of theistic influences and child abuse messing up their proper thinking and educated minds, then when they are around 18 years of age and have experiences reality without influential mind f**kery, tell them all about any of these worshipped books of BS, and see how they react to this information you try to get them to follow! LOL I say it's mass child abuse on a global level, because it implants other peoples beliefs in that many children's minds from the start of their lives when they are most influential, vulnerable, as well as gullible, that were passed down through generations of absolute ignorance, which causes mass amounts of the human population on this planet to instantly defend and or dismiss all natural as well as educated thought toward forming their own educated opinions or ideas about what they were told, and lead to believe as a result. I don't know about you, but I feel like that is a pretty horrible thing to do to developing children that one day become adults that will instantly shut down anything that suggests they might have been mislead their whole lives, and prevented from trying to figure anything out for themselves because they were told not to try to be more smart than the magic old invisible giant man that made the human species out of dirt like a little sand castle, then breathed his magic invisible life breath into the dirt mans nose to bring the little dirt man to life, so the giant magic invisible old man, which would mean he would have a penis in order to be a man, which is what our species calls a "man" because a man is one of the only actual 2 types of our entire species, that uses a penis as it's normal human instinctual reproductive organ to reproduce, which is our only actual purpose and "Meaning of Life" that people just can't ever figure out, because they are too concerned with these ridiculous BS fictional stories from the simple minds of our ancestors thousands of years ago, before our species was able to look into microscopes and telescopes, to see well beyond their immediate line of sight everywhere their self important lives roamed... Believe those old books, or else!!! Or else what? Oh, you will see when you are dead and your brain no longer forms thoughts and no longer retains memories, because your blood stops flowing and supplying your body with everything it needs to function! But then how would I be able to remember anything that was processed as thoughts in my physical brain that I had when I was alive, and be able to continue being anything that I was as a person while living on a cloud that is above the snow globe above earth, that holds the water out so it doesn't flood the earth again when the god from the bible communicates with a single person again in that persons head, and tells him the exact plans that are required to build a giant ship out of wood that can sail the entire planet, just like that 550 year old man named Noah did when he traveled the entire undiscovered world on his ark so he could pick up those kangaroos and koalas and penguins and all those other animals him and his sons somehow convinced to climb aboard their boat, so the god could then COMPLETELY MURDER ALL OF THE HUMAN SPECIES with a massive flood where he opens the top flood gate and pours the water in from above, and the one below to also shoot the universe water from outer space in from under the snow globe like dome that the god created when he separated the waters to form an area for our flat 4 corners of earth that was created on the 3rd day, before the sun and moon were created, which somehow all 4 of those days somehow took place and happened without the earth rotating around the sun, but the sun and moon are actually in the dome live in that holds the water out.............. And this is exactly why the bible, and all other ancient absolutely uneducated and obviously very simple minded authors from a couple thousand years ago and more, are historical thoughts of fiction as they tried to make sense of their lives and their surroundings... And which is why you weren't brought up to realize that the bible is a book that nobody reads from page 1 all the way through to the end, just like ALL other books other than reference books without stories of any sorts, but the bible is all stories, and they are really terrible ones at that! LOL

"Given the new evidence regarding the younger dryas impact hypothesis, could the events described in the genesis account of creation, actually be describing a "resurgence " from that event " (Possibly badly remembered or understood). I am athiest/agnostic so I'm not interested in confirming the biblical account. But the question has been bugging me for a while. I've been trying to do my own research/study. If you read the Gospels of Luke and Matthew you see that it gives more information about seeing all the kingdoms of the earth from a "mountain", in the original writings it did not give the word "mountain", it was added in later translations, it simply says that instantly the devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth, which alludes to a vision or a miraculous operation of the devil to do that, both cases do not mean that they thought of a flat earth, you have to read all the texts that speak about the subject to interpret correctly and not just one. Hope will see a video in the future correcting those errors.

Then how many are errors like that if I just see 2 and were both inaccuracies of the guy of the video not the Bible? I always say once you leave JW, it’s easier for you to become an atheist than a churchgoer (I hope this word doesn’t offend people that goes to church as my terminologies are still kinda JW inspired) I was a JW all my life till my mom died when I was 14, at 14 I was already an orphan, me and my bro was being raised by a single mom who was entirely our world and when she died, all hope died, JW wanted me to drop out of school and just become a full time preacher, I was already a baptized regular pioneer, we were poor and me and my brother were even homeless at a point after mom died, I started going to work as a laborer where you get paid daily, and I started to miss meetings because I had to put food on our stomach and this was back in Africa where you don’t get help from government or even relatives. Long story short, JW was mad at me and even as an orphan with no one, they took everything away from me, I was already a lonely orphan and here they were taking everyone I knew from me (only ex JW Will understand this, I had no friend outside of JW, we didn’t even play with the kids in our neighborhood because they weren’t JW, we knew no one outside of the organization) The fact that JW would weaponize the few friends they let you have against you at your lowest point is pure evil. The case was so bad that it made some youth leave the organization because they just wouldn’t cut me off as they understood my struggle. Young guys left the congregation to stand by me. It’s just a lot of stories that I just tried to summarize as much as I can! JW would take everything away from your whether you’re a kid who just became an orphan or not because they don’t care about you, they only care about the hours you report and the people you converted or brought into “The Truth”. 2016 was the year I decided to be the master of my life and stop being a slave to “Jehovah’s organization” and have a say in the direction I want my life to go. I’ve been free since then, I officially left at age 16 and today, I’ve made it now, I have a good life and I’m now in a position to help others as I’m very stable in every aspect now and moved here recently and I’m back to school. I’m grateful to see videos like this because I’m happy to see people escape JW successfully without them pushing you into suicidal thoughts or making you hurt yourself when they take everything away from you! And JW are the only people that’ll literally scold you and tell you how much of a big unforgivable sin you’re committing when they know you’ve attempted suicide instead of talking to you and finding the reason that pushed you into such decisions. I’m not saying I encourage suicide, I’m just saying it’s wrong to scold such person without finding out what pushed them to such decisions in the first place.

You can say everything in the universe is a reason to believe in God. But how can you judge with certainty that it's biblical God? Why is it that the Bible of all Divinely inspired scriptures is the true representative of God? Especially when it was compiled by corrupts. What does it have that no other scripture does. It can't be the prophecies because the Hindus beat you to it. The science is shaky The historical accuracy for the Old Testament is also shaky So what is it? *Please don't mention that God has shown himself to you or that you had a dream or some shit like that because every religion says the same thing Thanks

@HeavyMeddle301 Because science has become its own religion. When a Christian says they believe in something because the Bible says so, many Atheists and Agnostics lose their mind, yet do not see the irony when asked why they believe in a scientific claim, to say, because science says so. Same reasoning, different paradigm.

The bible is highly symbolic and if it is read literally as a secular novel it will sound like a fairy tale or an old book of Jewish folklore. Unfortunately very few people on this planet will master the abstract nature of the bible.

Well some real kingdoms appear in the bible. Rome for example is known to stretch all the way to modern day england. Ofc they didnt have any idea about the world, but we can assume that their world is limited to the middle east+news from around it. Thets actually important perspective, because it shows how egoistic and self-centered the bible is. Like where is the history of china which literally was the most developing region at a time? Or the native americans who made amazing cities? The entire bible is ignorant of everything. And it helps developing the evil in people.
