I love this method. You can always see my hair when I try to hide it in the crochet loc and sometimes, it will work it's way out of the loc. This method looks more secure and natural. The style came out so beautiful. Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try this.

How long is too long for rice water? I'm currently using homemade rice water with lemon or lime peels in it. So far, I've only RW twice. 1st time, I let it sit for about 30 mins the. Rinsed with conditioner to eliminate the smell. 2nd time, I was in a hurry and let it sit for about 10 mins. I could feel my scalp getting a little itchy and my hair was a little hard like when you use a protein conditioner so I rinsed it out again with a moisturizing conditioner to soften it up. I planned on leaving the RW on for about 1-2 hours next time, but now idk..please share so my hair doesn't fall out 🙏🏾 I already have breakage around my edges and top of my crown from wearing wigs and leaving my braids under my wig in too long. My edges weren't totally bald, just in one spot, but they are still thin. They are growing back, but very slowly. I've been wearing ponytails to give my hair a break and let it breathe. Plz share..thx!😟
