I love this method of adding the tracks in!! I bought some bundles recently to do a similar loc style but the idea of cutting the hair clean off the track didn’t sit right with me!! Your method increases the reusability of the hair, 10 fold!!

Oh...you done did something right here! Def makes sense. I hate having to add the loose ends with bulk hair. Using the hair on mini tracks makes so much sense, and its still easy to take down. Cut unwrap and cut the rubber band. Genius!

Today I still do my own hair, and I love when people asked me who did it. Bro!!!! I’ve been going over and over in my head for MONTHS how ima do my locs with bundles without cutting the bundles and without crocheting or doing a lot. I came up with an idea like this but wasn’t sure if it would work and hadn’t decided how I’d get the hair to stay without it coming off. This sounds like a bunch of rambling but I say all that to say THIS video right here! I recreated this style from you today! It was fairly easy thanks to you! The only difference is I glued the track around the synthetic braid end as if it were a mini weave ponytail! Made this so fast and more condensed ❤ thank you again my bday pics gonna be 🔥

I'm doing this on a wig with KINKY STRAIGHT ENDS instead of kinky curly. That way it will match afro bulk without the extra shine from body wave. I have a crimper so I plan to wave up the kinky straight to make it more textured.

I don't like braids or locs, but I love yours. It's different looking. You did a GREAT job!! Gorgeous!

Before removing them, you should color the end a bit Edit: I use 2 and a half bundles of organique body waves. All synthetic ( didn't like it, was too straight. Might use their curly weaves next time) For warping I use 2 and half bag of lulutress island twist 18in ( didn't cut it, use two strand to warp)

I'm very late hopping on this style. What i did was use some old croquet faux locs, not the soft ones, plait the human hair at the bottom after unravelling the locs. I plait it tightly Then i wrapped each loc with xpression twisted up and secure the wispy parts while wrapping twice. Wash in vinegar and shampoo, let it drain, then i dipped all the locs in hot water. This made the whole loc cohesive with the human hair as the hot water straightened the twisted up hair i use to wrap. I ended up with soft locs that blends in texture with the human hair.... I will croquet in and resuse. Ps. Wrap each loc tight as the hot water will condense and can loosen the twisted up hair. ❤
