Great episode as usual! You should do Genova and Torino the food is amazing and so undiscovered! Genova has some of the most ancient and delicious pastry shops, confectionery and chocolate makers in Italy like Profumo, Romanengo, and Zuccotti, the culinary scene has so many amazing foods like Pesto, Focaccia, Fried Seafood, Focaccia Di Recco(a crazy cheese delicious focaccia) amazing clothes shops like Finollo tie makers that supply the English royal family and many more. And Torino has just as much of it.

@@EuroTrotter you could start from Torino and the surrounding area (definitely a different "shade" of Italy) and then head south by train or car, to Genova and then Cinque Terre. You'll love It as much as the rest of Italy.
my home town since 18 years old then moved to LA for my studies and never returned, got married at villa d este in Como, go visit it!!!!

Monte Napoleone! Vichingo!!
really strong bergamo accent at the meat stand in the market!
Great video Mark !! Thank you once again because I get the chance to know Milan because of you ... I have a question for you: how are you handle this global situation ? Are you already working in Your next destination ? Regards from Argentina

Hi Francisco! Thanks for watching and for the note. Yes, this has been quite a sad and unfortunate crisis...my heart goes out to everyone touched by loss during this time. We have not been able to travel, but are planning on traveling IMMEDIATELY when things open up...I'm targeting late summer/early fall...I want to be a part of Europe's tourism recovery...if we can do late summer early fall, then I will most likely head to Spain, the Western Mediterranean islands, French Rivera and Western Italy...if that's not possible, then I'll shop for Transylvania and the Balkans in the October.

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SPELL THE NAMES HE IS SAYING? Can you put the names of the places in the description box please? I cannot make out exactly what they are and when I type in google my efforts, it doesn't show what it sounds like you're saying for the "Mercato For tre?" or the stand name or anywhere else. Thanks a lot for this, I'm using your review of Milan for a university project where I have to add reviews of a city to my travel guide website I'm making. Thanks a lot.

Been living in Milano for 45 years. Never heard of Mercato forte. And if you're buying a Gorgonzola from Bergamo you're sure as hell being ripped off. Zola is from gorgonzola, Novara or Casalpusterlengo but not Bergamo. That said, very nice video, everything else is 100% accurate.
to be precise, gorgonzola is not from Bergamo. in Bergamo there is taleggio and stracchino and other types of cheese. Gorgonzola is a town in the province of Milan and the name and tradition derive from them. Your reports are always very interesting and of great quality. Hi
@EuroTrotter

Hi Claudio, thank you for that information....the cheeses are so so good, the creamy gorgonzola is just heaven! thanks for watching my friend and for the comment.
Hello, I'm going to Milan next month, what is the name of the rooftop bar you mentioned? I didn't catch all of the words.
Did you know that your surname Felice means happy in Italian?

I guess 24 hours is too short a time, but you don't seem to have caught the gist of the city. Oh, and you managed to butcher the pronunciation of *all* the Italian words you tried to say.
Poor guy, can't pronounce a single bloody name right LOL!!
