Love the perspective! I’ve got a 22 Forester Wilderness and love it! I go off-roading and overlanding with it stock but I’d love a little more capability so I’ve been looking into the Ironman 4x4 lift, Black Rhino boxer wheels, and the Falken Wildpeak AT3W 235/65/17…my question to you is…is there a better combo out there that will keep it as close to factory while giving it more capability? This is my daily driver but I also get off-road 2-3 a month.

I love the FWE! what color did you go with? I think you're right on the money. I run that exact same wheel. It's light and tough. Your tire size doesn't sound crazy and the wild peak is a great tire. Only thing I would do different to keep it closer to stock if it were my car would be running a spacer lift vs a suspension lift. Suspension lifts can be great for some people, but I really like the OEM suspension and the capability is almost identical when using a good spacer lift. Just my two cents but it's served me well all these years.

Thinking of lifting my 2014 Forester. Good to know some of the things to expect. I still want to lift my Subaru but I'll just have to be more conscious of how I drive it!
