I like to cover every standard briefly because I know some of my higher students will catch on quickly, but I spend the majority of the time reviewing core concepts that students are close to mastering.

These are all such great tips and you seriously do an amazing job explaining! It's so important not to totally disrupt your classroom routines just for test prep and neglect students' emotional needs.
