The thing is….disability has to be taken into account in order to make things more accessible. Pretending someone’s disability doesn’t exist because society sees it as bad or sad isn’t helping. It’s most helpful to see the entire person, abilities and disabilities and all.

Yet more Inspiration porn. Those of us who are disabled aren't there to make able-bodied people feel inspired. We're just people, like anyone else. Framing videos in this way puts enormous pressure on disabled people to be 'the right kind' of disabled. Most of us will never be paralympians yet it's used as a stick to beat us with. Stella Young said it best - www.ted.com/talks/stella_young_i_m_not_your_inspiration_thank_you_very_much

As someone with learning disabilities seeing someone who has it worse then me inspires me and shows me how lucky I am and how I it would be a sin to stop pushing my self. It also shows the rest of the world and abled body people they really don't have any excuses, I also shows them that disabled people are able to accomplish as much of not more then abled bodied people. I have no problem with videos like this.

Someone can pop up right in front of you, also you approach things so quickly at those fast speeds how can you process all that while going 5-10mph? I dont think its possible for activities such as bike riding. This is "fake news" content designed to bring in views. Ill believe it when i see it.

Hello i am a single guy i have lost my right hand from the rest and injured my right leg the femur part i am lebanese living in lebanon i feel like the wrong person in the wrong place here the lebanese gov. Doesnt really care about the 15% of lebanese citizen that live in lebanon instead of helping and giving then monthly benefits for example not $1000 but $500 at least they dont and our law 220/2000 is not applied yet so i dont have a rights to practice or enjoy like other disabiled people in other countries and i dont have my own apartment or place yet also am single and unable to have a girlfriend at least. Also in lebanon there are 102 org. But half of them are not legal the other half are theifes and take advantage of the disabilied but as the size of lebanon in my opinion we dont need 102 org. Its like they made it there job and all the money they recive or donations they go to there pockets and we dont get anything from it and have a feeling that those org. They dont want us to have a better future or get married one day and be indepandent so they want us to always be at our knees and ask them for help .. so i hope this message gets to everyone and i hope you guys could help me start an indepandant org. for example and try to build a big nice building to house and support about 100 guy and girl with disability also employ 150 lebanese guys and girls also that building the people also could benefit from it not just the disabiled thats why i am trying to design and draw an 8 level build in 2D and hopefully i get your help and support on that project please contact me by email abms19842021@gmail.com Whatsapp +01196176652728
