4 Reasons Jurgen Klopp Was The Best Manager Ever

ONE
Jurgen Klopp once said about Philippe Coutinho; "We tried everything to convince him to stay. But when he was no longer focused, we had to let him go. We had to let him follow his dreams of playing for Barcelona". And of course, the money was good. Coutinho was sold for 146 Million Pounds. And being a genius manager, Klopp didn’t allow the club to be devastated by the departure of the team’s key player and playmaker, and he used Coutinho’s money to make two of the most important signings in Liverpool’s entire history, Virgil Van Dijk and Allison Becker. Both of them have been an essential part in helping Liverpool win every single trophy out there.
TWO
Liverpool were kind of a mess when Klopp took over, where it had been YEARS since they’d won ANY trophy. And despite not having the financial backing of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea, that didn’t stop Klopp from revolutionizing Liverpool. First, no team in the world was able to stop his attacking trio, Mo Salah, Firmino and Sadio Mane. Second, through players who many wouldn’t think of as stars; like Henderson, Keita, Fabinho, Wijnaldum and old man Milner, his midfield became one of the best in Europe. And third, his main man Van Dijk wasn’t just a rock in defense, but for a defender, he was runner up for The Best FIFA Men's Player and the Ballon d'Or.
THREE
He formed the current greatest coaching rivalry, because he not only gave Guardiola a run for his money, both at Dortmund and at Liverpool, but Jurgen’s winning record against Pep is driven by his 4-3-3 formation, and that proved to be better and more effective than Guardiola’s 3-2-4-1 formation. And while Pep very often has fallouts and drives his own players to just leave the club, Klopp’s warm relationship with his “boys”, as he would call them, seems to be really helping to get the best out of each and every one of them.
FOUR
That warm relationship with everybody at the club, made Jurgen Klopp not just one of the most likeable people in the entire city of Liverpool, but maybe the whole world. He was a really cool dude. But at the same time, he would be ruthless when he needed to be. He did not hesitate for a second in getting rid of goalkeeper Loris Karius after he lost the Champions League final vs Real Madrid. And he chose a goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, who has made so many crucial saves to help Liverpool become the team they are today.
So with Liverpool currently competing for every single trophy they’re playing for, The EFL Cup, FA Cup, the Premier League and the Europa League, I really hope that the players will be men, and not boys, and send off Jurgen Klopp in the best way possible after everything he’s done for Liverpool.

i laughed out loud reading the title of this video, Pep has: - 2 more CLs - 3 more CWCs - 3 more Super Cups - 4 more Prems (3 peat, near 6 peat, warra "run for his money") - 1 more FA Cup - 3 more Carabaos - 1 more Community Shield - 1 more Bundesliga title (another 3 peat, warra "run for his money") - 1 more Pokal AND - 3 La Liga titles (another 3 peat, sensing a theme?) - 2 Copa del Reys - 3 Supercopa de Españas The one, and only, thing Klopp has over Pep is two German Super Cups, even if you don't think Pep is the best manager ever Flopp doesn't touch the top 20, not even the best Liverpool manager ever, and certainly not in competition with Pep

Take the following away from Pep and see how good he is: - A referee in the Barcelona v Chelsea Champions League semi final that literally screwed Chelsea and gifted Barcelona a place in the final. - A Barcelona team that critics see as the greatest football team in history, led by the Greatest Player of All Time (Messi). - Bayern Munich’s immense resources, nine of the 10 most expensive signings in German football history, and an annual revenue ranking third globally, that far surpasses their domestic rivals. - Blank cheques. - Getting away with over 115 Financial Fair Play (FFP) breaches at City. Also - Klopp has a winning record against Pep despite less resources both in Germany and England. - Doesn't force great players to leave (Ronaldinho, Deco, Zlatan, Mahrez, Eto, Mandzukic, Toure, Cancelo). Finally, Pep can’t be that good if it took him around €1.5 billion to win the Champions League with City.

While I don't understand how you see Pep is better when Klopp has a winning record against him, with way less resources, yet you're entitled to your opinion and I am to mine.

Apples and oranges. What Klopp did at Liverpool was transformational. Not saying he is better or worse than Pep, but your comparison on raw output doesn't prove anything to anyone who understands the game.

I have to clarify that the video never said Klopp is better or worse than Pep, it just mentioned that Klopp gave Pep a run for his money, which is absolutely the case evidenced not only by Klopp's winning record, but by Pep himself saying that he'll now "sleep better" knowing Klopp is leaving. But of course they're both terrific coaches.
