i think people just dont realize how incredible he was, every single defender was struggling defending against him, these days theres not one player at chelsea that makes defenders fear, back then hazard could easily take out 3 or 4 all alone, i cant describe how much i miss him, to this date no one comes close to him, the most impressive thing is he didnt even try really hard, he just went onto the pitch and had fun, in terms of talent only messi can beat him

Neymar and Hazard are both among the top 5 dribblers of all time. And the stats prove it. R9 and Ronaldinho were great ball handlers but their dribbles/game averages were poor compared to Neymar and Hazard. Maradona is the only player whose numbers are better than Neymar and Hazard. It's amazing that we have been lucky enough to see 3 of the best dribblers of all time play in the same era. IMO, Top dribblers of all time. 1) Messi 2) Maradona 3) Neymar 4) Hazard 5) Best

I think his parents were both footballers who paced their children a lot from a young age. Unfortunately (and I'm speaking as both a Chelsea and a Hazard fan) he was way off form for most of the 2015-16 season (as were pretty much all of his Chelsea team-mates - hence the poor 10th place finish in the Prem), with only a few isolated sparks of brilliance (notably "that goal" against Spurs) towards the end of the season.

Not a Chelsea fan but Hazard was one of the best players I’ve ever seen touch a ball. Sad to see what happens now, but boy oh boy was he the best. I guess all those hits and bumps have taken their toll.

His world cup was also so good that season... Prime Hazard for me

it's the unpredictability that made him as smooth as butter. At the moment our current crop of players are too predictable, hence why we struggle to break properly through teams. Hopefully Potter find us that player or even develop one

Hazard fan from day one an always will be which ever team he moves with I move. I most say the Chelsea fans really miss him the best player they ever had

Dude was running full speed with the ball at almost all times. Control was crazy. Defenders were shook. His peak was Messi level. Incredible player. A dying breed of player and football

The people he's played with - Fabregas, Kante, Terry, Lampard, Fernando Torres, Ashley Cole, Drogba... I think if you put him next to them, he still would steal the show and make the difference. He's a legend of the game and should be treated that way. I hope he can put out a few good seasons before he decides to retire. Maybe not at Real Madrid, but just showing that he's never lost it.

I cant emphasize how much I love hazard as hes probably my favorite premier league player ever behind suarez but eden was never on neymars level, neymar was simply a much better version of hazard and its that simple
