Instant food made instant! This recipe of Instant Rava Dhokla & Green Chutney is a quick breakfast recipe. Instant Rava Dhokla becomes ‘instant’ thanks to the addition of Eno Fruit salt that acts a raising agent and cuts down on hours of fermentation time. The batter of Instant Rava Dhokla then needs to be steamed for 15 minutes to get a fluffy dhokla ready. To cut down on the time and make the Instant Rava Dhokla even more ‘instant’ we can cook it in the microwave. This way the Instant Rava Dhokla cooks in just 4 minutes!
Along with the Instant Rava Dhokla, also sharing the recipe of a teekhi Chatpati Green chutney that will be a perfect accompaniment to this Instant Rava Dhokla!

Recipe :
Instant Rava Dhokla
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
Dhokla batter:
2 cups rava
1 cup curd
1 tsp green chilli ginger paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 pinch hing
2 cups water
2 tsp eno fruit salt
For tempering:
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard
½ tsp cumin
2 whole red chillies
8-10 curry leaves
1 pinch hing
1 cup water
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
¼ cup freshly grated coconut
For Green Chutney:
1 cup Green Coriander
¼ cup Mint leaves
2 tbsp Bhuna chana
1 tbsp Amchur
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt to taste
4-5 Green chilies
1” Ginger
2-3 ice cubes
Method:
Mix together the rava, green chilli ginger paste, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt and a pinch of hing with 1 cup water.
Cover and rest for 5 minutes or until the rava is soaked well.
Add 2 tsp eno fruit salt and mix gently till the batter turns frothy.
Pour the batter immediately into a grease mould.
Place in the steamer and steam for 20 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes clean.
Or Microwave at high mode for 3-4 minutes.
To prepare the tempering, heat 2 tbsp oil. add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, 2 chilli, few curry leaves and a pinch of hing. Allow to splutter.
Add 1 cup water, 1 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp salt and 1 tsp lemon juice.
Mix well and get to a boil.
pour the tempering over the dhokla.
also, top with 2 tbsp coconut and 2 tbsp coriander.
For the Chutney:
Mix together all the ingredients and add 2-3 cubes of ice. Grind to a smooth paste.
Enjoy instant rava dhokla with green chutney.

Pls share recepi of how to make instant Millets dhokla premix
I have a suggestion. Use the dull side of the knife to separate the Dhokla from the sides of the aluminium mould. That way you preclude the possibility of scratching the or scraping the mould with the sharp edge of the knife. This is especially helpful tip if you maintain your knives to be ultra sharp like me. I have also experienced concentrated beam of radiation within the microwave oven. Very often this has led to charring /burning of the food at the centre of the rotating plate. In this situation use a non spatter plastic lid / cover over the mould which diffuses the beam and prevents this burning.

Dhokla me kabhi bhi pani sugar tepering nahi hota voh oil ke sath khate hai or tadke me pani nahi dalte. Oil mustard seeds, jeera, til hing curry leaves hota hai. Khaman me hi vaghar karne ke liye Pani chini oil me dalte hai mam.
