This video doesn't have enough views and that's borderline criminal because there's ALOT of valuable information here on the topic at hand. Really appreciate the breakdown on such a simplistic topic that most people don't deep dive into despite it being very useful to have an understanding of.

It needs to be presented differently. I'm very much an intellectual and feel I can barely track with what's being said. It's just not clear. 12:20 at the time I'm writing this and I'm out.

Honestly stumbling along on a video like this, feels like luck itself and I think it may contribute to achieving the luck I'm aiming for, based on the knowledge I gathered here and can now apply. I often give a chance to a video without taking into account the number of views, instead estimating if is this the info I need, and stopping the watch if I don't find it useful or continuing if I do. In the case of this video, it kept me till the last second.

I just finished reading Eugene Fluckey's book Thunder Below. I printed out and pinned a quote, and stuck it on my home office bulletin board. In those pages, he wrote: "Luck is where you find it... but to find it... you have to look for it." Fluckey was an awe-inspiring American sub commander. Throughout multiple patrols, with courage, smarts and initiative, he sank an unbelievable amount of enemy tonnage and conducted devastating shore bombardments. Another accomplishment includes dispatching a landing party on Japanese mainland soil to derail a critical supply train carrying mostly war materiel - something he decided to do, on his own. He was massively proud of his war record, but prouder still of the perfect discipline ramongst his enlisted men and officers, and bringing everyone back alive and uninjured. He and his men earned MANY battle awards and commendations, but NO Purple Hearts!

I like your solid alliteration LOL and your solid reasoning! Thanks for taking the time to share your uniqueness. It's obvious that you are well read and are drawing from a vast pool of both book and life experience knowledge...I'm also glad to learn that millionaires can still wear Walmart t-shirt's 😂(per another video). Oh man, people and the status game. I laughed pretty hard...The things that you share are really helping me to get out of the rock-bottom pit that I've been in and get on with my amazingly lucky life, so thanks again.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🍀 Luck is a crucial factor in success, and there are four types of luck: blind luck, hustle luck, preparation luck, and unique character luck. 04:11 🏃 Hustle luck is about taking many opportunities and persistent effort, increasing your chances of success over time. 05:34 📚 Preparation luck comes from recognizing opportunities that others overlook due to your unique knowledge and experience. 06:17 🧩 Unique character luck is the most powerful form, where your uniqueness makes you the best fit for specific opportunities. 08:12 🌟 To increase luck, focus on energy, curiosity, creativity, and uniqueness as key attributes. 10:06 ❓ Curiosity is essential, as it helps you ask better questions and access a broader range of knowledge and experiences. 11:45 🎨 Creativity involves synthesizing information in novel ways to provide useful solutions. 13:23 🧩 Uniqueness is about embracing your individuality and intentionally cultivating what makes you unique to attract unique character luck. 15:45 🎁 Most types of luck are within your control to some degree, so actively work on improving your luck through these attributes.

This is great. but an old friend of mine (I say that loosely) hit the ball one time for 6 months in a day job when he was 17. He never had a job since then, and the only bats he did hit were opportunities that made him something for nothing at other peoples expense. He stole even from me. (although he wasnt a great and consistent thief -he as always hustling??? working some angle to make himself even a little money). He always knew his uncle would leave him quite a bit of money. And around age 45 he did. The thief now lives in a 250k house, rents out another, has his own business all the cars and bikes and other trapings. So based n my experience, what you describe here isnt luck at all. Its more like changing your focus to have a better chance of succeeding. Its always easy to say he/she was lucky after the event. But before the event. Its just work. Thats something my old thief friend never did. by the way. You still did a great job.

I appreciate it. That's an interesting story. Just reiterates something important that Jean Luc Picard said in Star Trek: "You can do everything right and still lose. That's not weakness, that's life." The inverse of that is also true (in certain domains): "You can do everything wrong and still win. That's not strength, that's life."

Back to see a billion views on this. What's going on here? Changed title doesn't even resonate with the Algorithm? Maybe the response to the last question has some people frustrated to share - "good luck with that." I think it's a cool play on words - its about luck - kind of saying "wishing you blind luck, but the other 3, you have to put in some work." But can see how some people who have yet to resort to taking full responsibility for their luck would find that part demeaning or some kind of feeling of sorts. Watching for the 10th time.
