Peter leko really appreciated Praggu's mindset.. Instead of yesterday's painful loss he tried something creative didn't go for something solid, hoping to make draw with black pieces.. He came with fighting intention and what a game it was..

Yeah, they are burning preparation and becoming tired by playing among themselves to favor the Slavic federations that control FIDE. The best the Indians have going into fighting with Indian Players. Talk about having the foot in the balance to crown Nepo. Nepo may win, but he will never be after this trickery the world champion.

Incredible game by Prag!! Takes serious nerves to play a dubious opening in the Candidates and see it all the way through the end to win the game. Congrats to the young man! Cheers!
Fucking Svidler is teaching Prag all these nasty openings. He's creating a monster.

Well. I think the game is a perfect example of how classical chess has evolved to be a matter of memory and work with engines. It's the same reason Fischer and Magnus stopped playing and encouraging the game and format.
@SK-hs4fp

@@AnasKhan-ud4ol I agree. With the prep work and the opening prep etc, almost every game has at least the first 10-20 moves played by "rote". There doesn't seem to be much of the "brilliance" that used to be associated with the game 20 or 30 years ago.

your argument makes no sense, whatever wins you the game is always the best thing to do, boring or otherwise is irrelevant, unlike in other games like football aesthetics is not significant in chess.

Craziness in the Candidates 2024 openings! The Schliemann! Kudos to Pragg, answering Vidit's opening surprise yesterday with another today!
@jaimeduncan6167

Yep FIDE forced the Indians and the Americans to burn the best of the preparations and all the innovations playing against it each other to favor the Slavic federations. Probably want to turn Nepo into the world champion by puting the foot in the balance.
Suddenly the game went into chess960 mode!!!
Great prep by Prag and Svidler. I think Svidler has played the Schliemann in tournament chess.
I think the Women's Candidates also deserve a look, specially Tan Zhongyi vs Lei Tingjie from R1. #suggestion.
I’m in Australia, it’s 10 am in the morning!! And was just waiting for Agads video as usually I wake up to his Analysis videos😁
Much respect to young Pragg for playing such a ballsy move in the opening. Vidit was not ready for that as he seemed quite annoyed by it. That must’ve thrown his preparation out the window lol.
#Suggestion Arjun Erigiasi becomes world no. 5 at 2762 points. Please show his game from Schengen Masters . His achievements are dwarfed by attention to candidates

This is like what Ivanchuk would have played.
I think Pragg got Mikhail Tal's Soul 😂. That's why he is doing such crazy Moves 😎.
Schliemann way better than people think , but you have to be insanely prepared to play it .
Anand made a point : deferred Schliemann is actually something that Surya (VD’s second) is playing recently - so being unprepared for this response by Pragg would be hurting VD (and his team) a lot!

The old school chess. Nice game. This does stop the bleeding, he had to let flame breath.

Thank you agad, it's 2am in cairo and i was waiting for your video
Pragg knows Vidit is very goofy in complicated type of positions. Vidit really shines in simple positions but pragg got advised by visi to go wild against vidit.
Great. The deferred Schliemann is one of my pet lines and now everyone will know how to counter it (Pragg was playing the top engine line).

Yeah playing f5 is kind of a shocker at this level.
I will show this game to my friends at the bar and the library.
So happy for pragg. To clarify im greek not Indian 😅the guy went for a super complicated and attacking position with black after having lost with white. Very nice bounce back win.
f5 by Pragg is World Champion material. Magnus probably jumped in his seat a bit over that. When we Queen pawn players go tactical there is no hope for you. ;)
Great game by Pragg.
PRAGG is always my man.. My favorite chess player
Wow! Pragg threw caution out of the window in this. Pieces flying all over the board with wide open king.

Why Vidit didnt capture the bishop as soon as possible with the knight ? It was obvious even for me (2200) that Black pushing the pawns on the King side while keeping the bishop was deadly

Wow...amazing mind games by Prag! Great game
Pragg brought something new in the early stages by moving a pawn upfront 😂. Surely this game was not going to end up in a draw after the first 10 moves 😂
Here afterwards Pragg is going win nobody can stop him because he is like a sensational like Michael Jackson
Was eagerly waiting for this since the match ended!

Pragg is spectacular! Winning with such bold fashion after a heartbreaking loss yesterday is a true testament to praggs world champion mentality. He's always going to be my fave chess player, will root for him till the end!
Let's go!
It's the Schliemann Deferred, an extremely dangerous opening for Black. Not even Tal would have been crazy enough to play it.
Really a different Ruy Lopez, thanks.
Prag has been my favorite to win the candidates for some time now. I know his chances aren't as high as some of the others, but I'm rooting for him nonetheless.
i like young prag, i think he is going to be wc sooner or later
Pragg strategy is to basically burn his opponents brains
Very good battle!
I was waiting to see how agad will pronounce that Greek name on donations, but he skipped it 🤣🤣
Way to get a full point with black Prag f5 in the candidates?! 😮 love it!
Incredible defensive play by Pragg. Besides from the bold f5 defense, overall I think he played very patiently and solidly.

Has the women's tournament already in motion or not?
Yes you could capture the g2 pawn but if you do that, you run into checkmate.
Vidit got lost in the forest. Pragg can be scary
I think a mix Richard Rapport and Daniel Dubov has got into Pragg.. Creative and Fearless.
ANTONIO STAYS UP THE WHOLE NIGHT TO REPORT FOR US; PAYS OF TO LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, BUT I WILL BE STRUGLING IN 2 MONTHS WHEN EURO CUP IS ON :)
I wonder if Antonio's wife knows hes awake? Because he should definitely take care of any nighttime baby needs.
