on french braids,u see the hair on the side like the way it was braded (if that makes sense) and conrows are just the braids and u cant see any braided in hair on the sides :) or just google conrows and then french/dutch braids you‘ll see the difference xx

cornrows are multiple, protruding dutch braids (under braid) and french braids are flatter braids (over braid)
