I had a good feeling when I saw how (the part that did turn out to be) the filter was being inserted into its place,that that particular project would turn out to be a cool little hand/mini vac! Probably meant to be a flood warning for dishwashers or similar. Just make sure the blades is on the downside when you place it. The real inventor in the video is whever came up with the hot glue gun 😀

@@lousaynus9517 From what I understand, with my KZread education, hot glue doesn't stick that well to what he stuck it to. Battery goes dead, just pull it off. Out of hot glue? Try Bazooka Bubble Gum.

it senses liquid. You would use it when you want to be alerted of a leak, like at the bottom of your freezer or under a sink? Or turn it upside down to beep when your dehumidifier is full. Or outside if you want to know when the rain starts to bring your lawn furniture in. (The round plastic lid can be replaced with anything non-conductive that is the right size/shape to catch water where you want. ) Or ya, stuff it in your baby's diaper🤣🤣🤣

Such awaste of10 minutes ofmy life- and 10 hours of his~~~ but fun.

Better water-leak detector? Take an ordinary clothes pin (one with the spring) and glue contacts to ether side so that when they close, they close the connection to a buzzer. Then squeeze it open and put an aspirin in it to hold the contacts apart. Lay it when you expect a leak. If water leaks. the aspirin dissolves and the two sides make contact.

The rain alarm at the end needs a current limiting resistor in series with the base of the transistor or shorting the two razor blades with something metal will fry the transistor.
