Sir, what a great video from a trucker's perspective. Top notch videography. I love to see how you guys do things down under compared to what I know as an American driver. (Long since retired.) You all are so professional. The folks where you picked up the roll of rubber really had their act together. Have you ever shown how to operate your chain binders? We don't use anything like yours that ratchet. I would be very interested to see how you hook them to the chain. Take care.

@@RoadTrainAdventures I'm looking forward to that video about securement very much. It is so interesting how trucking evolved differently in different parts of the world. For example, the rigs in Europe are really different from both America and Australia in the combinations they use, and so on. Thanks for the reply.

Yes they are hugely different around the world. I like our trucks the best but that may be because I'm just used to ours.

Just a simple hook on either end of the chain dog that can hook it onto the chain anywhere.

Another great video Johnno, very interesting how Melbourne changed I can tell you a story about a run I did from Brisbane to Mordialic down Dandilong Hiway ? In a Lousville 9000 110 cubic metre furniture pan Semi-trailer in 1981 Maybe another day

I've been in that 610 when it was getting done work done in Deniliquin. I thought it looked nice but I wouldn't know what it's like to drive.

Yeah for us anything up and down the coast is local. We normally do east/west, long haul jobs so this is what we call just local work.

Cummins was working on it and it came back with some minor oil leaks.

I don't know the real reason. The states were run separately but as for 10 years ago NHVR tried to rule the country. National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. They only got in to a number of states. The others still go ne their existing rules.
