Maybe I’m weird, but I find it easier to do a Dutch on myself and more difficult on others; similarly, French is easier on others and more of a pain on myself. I taught myself (way before youtube lol...I’m 40!) so I’m probably doing it incorrectly but result is the same. Hope your fam is safe and well! 💓

I know it’s been well over a year since this video went up but I just started following you and I wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for taking the time to show us step by step how to do hair but especially with this particular video! I wasn’t taught how to do my hair as a little girl but through the years I’ve taught myself how to braid among other styles. I’m not an expert whatsoever and I still don’t always get it right but your videos have really helped. You make the fishtail french braid look so simple and easy to do. I tried it but man was the struggle real. Especially since I have extremely curly hair😂.

Thank you for such clear instructions. During covid lockdown my normal chin length bob grew past my shoulders and I pulled it up with a twist and a clip, boring. Quarantined and now learning to braid per your instructions! SUPER HELPFUL! Thank you for uploading #newsubscriber Tip: my arms got tired CRAZY tired n because of that made it hard to practice so... ***FOR ALL THE MOMS OUT THERE: I took my daughters “Braid Me Elsa” and practiced on it then did my own. Made it MUCHeasier to learn and not have jello for arms. (“Santa” got said Elsa at Five Below for $5.00) it’s just a head with hair and luckily I taught my daughter to share so she was okay with me borrowing it! 😂 🙏🏼

I'm so glad you did this beginners braiding for dutch style! I wanted to do the ones in your last video but kept coming out a little odd, plus my hair is almost to the bottom of my back so my hands kept getting very tired lol. Awesome! For the life of me, I can never do a Dutch braid; half way down I get confused and end up doing a French braid. Believe me when I tell you, they look very strange, but somehow interesting. Dutch/French! LOL Oh, and you're a rock star for doing 4 braids, and those fishtail braids - gorgeous, but my old arms just won't hold up! 😔

I’ve been doing French Braids + Fishtails Forever but when it comes to Dutch braids I have such a hard time. I guess bc I started w the French- so it feels like I’m doing it backwards, which is exactly what I’m supposed to. I just can’t seem to get the Dutch Braid down. 😫

How do you make your hair not tangly!?? What’s your fav shampoo and conditioner and products that you use daily to keep your hair soft and easy to brush after showering and in the mornings to get knots out?

I Really REALLY wish I could do these braids on my hair. I’ve had long, straight hair my entire life, and I can’t do any of them😩

I find it really difficult to start the braid from the very top of my head no matter how high I start and how small strand I begin with I always end up with a braid that starts from the half of my head

Were did you learn to go do these braids

And my sisters teacher is young like 20

You don't seem to have any wolf hairs. The hair line at the back of the neck, the hair that grows down either side of the spine? I don't have much but it gets weird when my braid hits the area right behind the ear where it transitions to a normal braid. Was hoping there was a magic secret.

I can french braid but I cant do the fishtail. not even kidding. I dont understand the hand positioning when crossing strands. so sad

Doesn’t matter how small I make my strands, the top part of my Dutch fishtail always looks more like a 3 strand braid and then the bottom turns into a fishtail… 😅

Me ( with ADD) "Stitch one, Stitch two, which one....wait where was I?" 😕

This is literally impossible for me

No way is this possible for a man to do, my wife told me I need to start braiding my daughters hair..nope impossible and she doesn't sit still. Idk how the hell you woman do this. I can't get the hand technique down to hold the hair in sections. Turns into a mess, and loss of patience.
