What if the ancestors of the Dragons in Natlan surrendered to the Primordial One and the reason Neuvillette is not welcome there is because they are ashamed of having betrayed the ancient Dragons instead of fighting to the end?

Or the dragons never liked each other and the reason natlan's dragons don't want neuvillette, because there was some beaf between the hydro and Pyro dragons

Dang so Natlan's Humans are actually dragons...which is interesting because the nation before Natlan, Fontaine, has their humans as Oceanids mimicking Humans, but then Neuvillette made them actual humans during the archon quest.

My personal theory is that it started with an act of kindness/righteousness, maybe these dragons where saved from some impending doom by the natlan tribes

I guess they are pets / componions of humans. In the livestream they talked about Saurian companions

The more we learn about Natlan, the less convince I am that the evolved dragons are the companions that the people of Natlan have. I suspect the event that will give use Natlan crumbs might give some clarification on this though, so we'll see.

Too bad, once Natlan drops, the Hydro Dragon Sovereign is coming to blast everyone and everything with water cannon

In short if you know the Dragonlords of Old Valyria from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series thats Natlan. 😅

Hey Aru what you say about this To my theory it seems like Natlan might be more advanced than we think cuz we are following this theme since start of the game Mond and liyue were very laid back with not much technology going on Inazuma was a bit advanced when it comes to weapons making and stuff Sumeru marked the showcase of their wisdom and knowledge related technology Fontaine literally dropped mechanism beings and buildings And To my belief Natlan will be fairly advanced since they exist with evolved dragons which would also explains why they will have more advanced culture but with some traditional setting

He lost his power because of erosion and elemental corruption. I don't think it had anything to do with purity.

Or by "original order", do you mean The Heavenly Principles (in which case, I would consider "original" a bit of a misnomer). Regardless, there's still a lot about erosion that is a mystery so I don't think we can say anything conclusive about it.

The souverins have to be the purest of their element, but as dragons went underground, weakened and elementally got mixed, they mutated far from what they used to be. And while Azhdaha seems to be a genetically pure geo dragon, he'd sucked up any and every element from the laylines, which corrupted him. So he cannot be the sovereign and he never stated so either. But I was also wondering why would Neuvillette not be welcomed... Especially since he is in human form... And he clearly meant to say that specifically the dragons would not welcome him... Dvalin could be a sovereign, I guess, but Given that Venti didn't forsaken his position as the anemo archon, I'd say, he isn't. Also, it seems like this title is not just random appointed but is a result of reincarnation. And while without restauration they don't have their past memories, they seem to know who they are - Neuvillette did. So... i think, we'd know Dvalin were the souverin... Based on the Natlan demo I think the dragons there are also mixed elementally, so none of them is suitable. But maybe we'll meet more human-formed dragons or the pyro sovereign survived. Maybe Natlan has a humand and dragon co-operation because this benefited their mutual survival on that harsh land... At any rate, the saurians we saw seemed to got through a dog-like change (became cute amd friendly). And the land looks nice. Of course, we just seen a smallunfinished demo

After the Bombshell that Fontainians are Oceanids. Yeah Natlan are Dragons.

Maybe Xbalanque and Murata share rule of Natlan and that’s why the humans and dragons there coexist? Or maybe it has to do with the gnosis??

They're originally Hydro by canon, but some are impure As for gameplay.. Anemo is a neutral element that mainly fuses with other elements, and Dendro wasn't added yet and won't react that much either
