3s Shrimp Outrigger Is Complete! First Time out on the Water, It's Definitely Unique
A few weeks ago a fellow subscriber & RC Enthusiast reached out to me thru email. Conversations about the hobby sparked a unique friendship over the hobby and content creation.
I sent him some batteries and qs8s for his Genesis cat & he decided to repay the favor with a box of miscellaneous rc boat parts.
The Shrimp Rigger kit along with the motor & hardware was given to me to assemble, (my first true boat build).
I spent no money on parts, only used what I had on hand and what was given. This video is the results of that collaboration between 2 complete strangers only a few months ago. I never had any interest in Riggers or small rc boats in general, so Fred decided to send the extra kit he had on hand knowing it would make for great content and he'd know I'd enjoy the boat once I finished building it.
Well he was right!

How can you NOT like riggers!? They take more work to tame but they do haul ass! Watch some rigger vids, Europeans have the lock on wild designs and saw records too. Loved my nitro .21 rigger back in the 90s. ABC makes some great hydro props I’m sure this little boat is the gateway to a r4 or the zippkit gt. Btw, watch ur channel and really enjoy it, bought an Impulse after seeing urs run…guess Im part of the “boat gang” as I rely on you guys for guidance.
Stuff in Larger MAH & Higher C rating lipo. You are limiting the motor. As for your turn fin, bend a hook like shape in fin so helps hold boat down in cornering

It's got a 60⁰ hook in it, but I guess it needs a 90⁰ bend. It's a Jerry rigged turn fin!
