I Almost Lost/Sunk my Proboat Impulse 32 with the Tenshock Motor!

Trying for Speed ended up with a Hull full of water!
The Tenshock BigBlock Motor has a specific size cooling can that can't be upgraded (since it's 38mm motor). The cooling jacket nipples are pressed in...well they both came out!
Ended up nearly sinking the boat!
Thankfully I noticed enough to keep it on plane & drive it to shore.
Here's how I fixed it!

Great Job it is always the small things that bite you. and Thanks for the Nod for the Shrimp. Happy ovals ! I doubt i will run mine on 4S but i think you will get 80+ with yours NP.

Awesome video, probably wouldn’t hurt to zip tie the hoses onto the cooling nipples. I’ve had hoses pop off before so i zip tie all mine now… Haven’t had a problem since.

Great video, just make sure you wear PPE with prepping those Berylium props. The dust is not good to be breathing in, don't mean to get in your business, just passing on the word. Please be safe.

I always wear a mask! I learned the hard way! Heavy metals messed with my sinuses one night, took my shirt off & dust went in & was 1 hour of hell! Almost went to the er. Had to flush my nose with saline. Imagine sneezing for an hour!

Whats going on @Tenshocks quality control? They're going to have to step their game up before I invest any money in their products. I'd really like to run those motors in my Zelos 36...

To be fair, I love the motors power! I believe it's just a new product that needs a few fine touch changes. I wish I had 2 to put in my Cheetah! Twin 2100kv would be Sick!

Thanks B! I believe I still gotta reach 4000 watch hours (if it's how it used to be). My main channel stays around 75k watch hours, but work videos are way harder to produce!

Correction! 4000 watch hours per year, not per month! So I can get monetized now! Sweet!

That flat bar jig negates all that "it needs to be" talk. bring those "ears" to a finer point or the flat shape interferes with the measurement as well. enough to make the lid addition moot. all that precision is blown by your gauge my man. JS. Gorgeous boat though
