After 3 months away from camping due to exams, we finally headed to Seven Beret in Batu Kurau, Perak.
Opting for a longer stay this time, the 3D2N trip was worth it despite the 8-hour journey from KL, slowed down by Hari Raya Haji traffic.
Arriving at 9 PM, Mr. Omar kindly picked us up and guided us through narrow, dark village roads and 2 km of off-road path through a durian orchard.
Our reserved lot, B8, was under durian trees with a safety net-perfect for the durian season!
Each lot offers privacy, and ours was a premium spot on a hill by the river, spacious enough for 2-3 tents.
With full occupancy, the campsite still felt spacious, and the toilets (separate male and female) were clean, albeit without lights at night.
Each lot has a power point (generator runs from 11 AM-3 PM and 7 PM-12 AM).
Managed by retired army personnel, Mr. Omar and his son Ikram ensured our safety and hospitality throughout, always with a smile and concern for our well-being.
During durian season, we enjoyed fresh durians falling from the trees at an affordable price.
The campsite's serene beauty includes two child-friendly rivers, but caution is needed in rainy weather due to strong currents.
Prices for premium sites are RM100/night and RM170 for 3D2N; regular sites are cheaper.

This tranquil haven, shaded by trees, remains cool even during afternoon showers.
Our 3D2N stay was too short, and we hope to return soon!
