A month ago I lost my best friend Marshmallow. He was my rock and loved camping. He died of a massive heart attack in my arms on the way to the vets. He would have been 14 in May and I had him since he was 6 weeks old. A year ago he lost his hearing but, As soon as i took a slice or block of cheese out of the fridge. He was right there. Love and miss you Marshmallow.

I'm so sorry for your loss, their lifespans are far too short. I just lost my cat a week ago. He was a constant presence by my side for 15 years, and the void is very poignant. I wish you healing. It does come with time knowing that you gave them the best life, and that they're no longer in pain.

Another enjoyable video Eugen! When I was in Boy Scouts in the late 70's to early 80's, we had a great time. There were only eight of us in two patrols, one of our two leaders was an ex-Para! I loved camping with the Scouts, it is what made me love bushcraft and everything else about getting out there. Part of camping for me, is the set-up. There is nothing better than arriving at camp and taking the time to make an excellent camp, shelter, fire, dry areas, wood storage, bushcraft and campcraft sessions, and entertainment...working on the camp over your stay and making it dry, warm...or cool, safe, comfortable, and looking perfect. I have never seen the point of massive trailers, campers, and motorhomes that feel like penthouse apartments. There is nothing wrong with a small van, or tiny trailer, but nothing beats a well set tent, a cot, and the sound of rain! Each to their own I suppose. I love Ted's raincoat, and the Turtle Dome, while a bit time-consuming and complex, seems to be perfect for that type of trip...though a longer stay would be better! The only difference in my set-up with something like this, is that I could never cook that close to our tent, not in bear country!!! I wonder what the first non-Indigenous people must of thought of Australia when they first got there! Beautiful countryside, desert, rain forest, lovely glens, jungle, and the danger to go with the beauty. I guess it wasn't a lot different from Canada, though not everything here wants to kill you...a lot do, but not everything!!! LOL! Cheers mate!

Such a nice read :) Camping in Canada is def high up on my list. I am not sure tho if it's more dangerous to camp there than in Australia, given you got huge predators who come after you. That's the thing, the creatures here actually don't want to kill you, just to defend themselves if they are cornered. Can't say that about bears. Definetly need to do some homework before going camping there I think.

To be fair, as long as you don't cook near your tent or store food of any type in or near your tent, you may not even see a bear. As for defending themselves, yes, I agree, except for Crocs, Crocs are just mean, bitey, eaty things...LOL!@@go4x4media

Wow! Short of nothing. The only thing was no sewn in groundsheet. The bottom of the tent kept blowing up and letting the cold, damp air in. Great to see how well Ted was looked after. Nice to see a dog so loved.

The epitome of camping luxury! Top quality in every detail... an individual storage compartment (with the name embroided no less) made of sturdy canvas for each little element inside the Jeep. Jaw-dropping!

Haha so adorable. I have never ever had the luxury of putting a tent on grass unless it was in my back yard. Where I’m from it’s either sand, rock or mud. The setup on that tent is horrendous. For me it has to be as quick as possible.

This video is incredibly relaxing, I watched the whole thing. I love seeing how everything is organized, labeled, simple and effective.

Certainly looks a lot more comfortable than camping with a motorcycle but it looks expensive. I cannot imagine that set-up being cheap! However, if you can then great. Anyone can be uncomfortable - I did a ton of that in the military!

Jeep are cool. I camped like this 20 years, and then I bought a GRECH RV. Plus mine is a Strada ION which means “no generator”. It’s all battery. Total instant camping and no trace. Tread lightly…..your friend in Colorado

oh man, I love you. it feels great to watch you after a long day of tiring me out. i have a dog too and we camp together just like you. of course we don't have professional equipment yet but everything is fine for a start. due to the busyness of my work and life we can't go to many camps, sometimes it can take months between 2 camps. But we fill this gap by watching you. and yes, we watch with my dog. i hope he can fulfill his longing for the camps he cannot go to.

Brother no one born at right path this is not the God law there are thousand of religion in the world every one say we are at right path and other all wrong but remember the right path path is only one not thousands.
