I'm guessing that they will evaluate this with a MRI scanner.
That brings back memories, especially when the table lifted up and brought the finished model out. I'm used to the Arcam machines, which had a very small front window, and we did medical implants (cervical and hip). Still so satisfying...
Absolutely insane. Mind blowing.
That's a total game changer! Very cool
Fantastic part of a machine that exists in another universe.
This si insane , how far can we go with this little beauty 😍
Holy shit. Beautiful piece
That is awesome!
The increased complexity of many AI-designed parts will surely also be a boost to those who 3D print versus conventional manufacturing. 👍
Amazing bro
This machine can do the impossible it's hard to believe it exists.
We are teaching them everything we know. Its only a matter of time before we become obsolete. Wonderfull progress 😊
That's so Beautiful.
tbh it looks like the future Lego peices
Some Alien part
i love how those machines print, would love to be able to work in a place with machines like those
Seen this multiple times through various channels, nver seen it actully working! If this over-enginneered part can't do what it suppose to do, then its just art piece in museum and not engineering part of some equipment. Would like to see second phase of this video, and that's working of this part.

The thing they’re trying to show is what the machine is capable of, not making a functional part
Agents of Shield: Monolith 😶
Amazing part
Certified ITAR moment
You probably won’t read this, but I’m so happy that you are so happy about the future. Makes me happy seeing people do things they love!
HOW LONG DID THIS PART TAKE TO PRODUCE PLEASE PRAY TELL

As a welder I am envious, welcome to the future
Makes me wonder how much energy this machine uses
Fusion has an auto-generate feature that does stuff like this, I’m sure Solidworks will add one too at some point, if they don’t already have a plug-in available through third-party. So this isn’t exactly breakthrough. It’s a cool, novel toy to play with, but the designs generated are mostly impractical from a manufacturing and long-term reliability/maintenance standpoint, so it’s usually best to stick to human-made designs for now.
Pretty cool
It looks like it would be part of a Dyson vacuum in 2088.
It's beautiful
Normally "HIPping" at high temperatures and presures in argon can dramatically improve the strength of cast aluminium. Could the same be true for this? Edit: yes
That's so cool how it just heat the powder up
👍🏻👍🏻 Impressive
For how big and expensive that printer is you'd think it'd also do the dust vacuuming part as well
The future of manufacturing is gonna be insane and the things we can make with 3D printing is gonna next generation..
This is where we're going something designed by a genius and a computer program will replace us
Almost any idea is possible now. Imagine how many great ideas some of our greatest inventors could’ve gone through with had they had access to this level of custom manufacturing. As long as we have the right minds working with this technology, humanity is about to quadruple in advanced technology capabilities.
Looks like it would fit the batmobile!
Magic how it becomes clean...
Ty Trumph
Making something that complex out of powdered metal would be a nightmare 😆
If I had to guess that's a $350K part.
Just imagine the possibilities, better car parts like "pistons, engine blocks"! More interesting designs for rugged phones! Simple things, you know what mean? You know what I mean!

They got this idea for the rocket part from a round fireworks Cake.
They took er jerbs!!!
We did it boys, we live in the future
Looks amazing to me
The heart for a T-1000.
