The gearbox housing needs either some vertical bolts through it. Or print some pieces like cross sections of I-beam and make channels in the walls of the box to glue them into so they act as tie bars with their print layers 90 degrees to the box layers. Adding a top cover and bracing from the top of the gear box to the shredder box would also make it tougher. Three or four of these stacked would reduce old prints to pretty small pieces, especially if the lower stages used thinner discs.

And the cutting disc can be printed with the yellow spacer. And thanks for maximum affordability test, maybe can put big bolts at the end of each disc cutter, sharpen the bolt head, make it able to cut harder stuff instead of crashing into pieces 😂 Maybe can cut some strips of sheet metal, wrap around the cutting disc, bolt up, so it’s completely metal cutting with each other instead of using pla... well want to do this subject XD

What is the gear ratio?
Put a brushless motor 😈 endless torque!
impressive gearbox, but that you have an gearbox is a problem, for every extra part you have is one more potential point of failure. the grinder should have had just one low speed high torque engine that you connect directly to the shredder.
would be interesting to cast all of that in aluminum, shouldn't be that hard with 3d printed molds, would be cool and easy to do a lost wax kinda thing with PLA parts being melted out "wax"
Que software usas para. Diseñar??

Great video. Awesome design. Too many ads. But otherwise a solid watch.

I leaned following this series: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2mWxZucY7aXYso.html Honestly wish there was an open source alternative to F360 though as they are pretty shady in their efforts to lock you to their platform.
I really want to buy a small shredder, but my country does not make it, can I buy it from you
ok but can it crush a car?
Neat but if you really are trying to build something that needs strength you need to do 100% infill. I know print time is gonna be forever, but should save on reprinting replacement parts.
Try a worm gear👍👍

@@donavanharris2179 I was thinking about printing a hydraulic gear pump, but a completely 3d-printed hydraulic system would be a great idea 👍

Probablemente vienes de "Un Poquito de Todo"
Looks like you made the model yourself... why not print as much together as possible XD ... like the whole box with spacers and all 4 sides can be print in 1 piece.
