3D Printed Micro RC Jet Boat!!
I'm back with more RC boat action! After being dissapointed with the results of converting my boat into a jet boat, I set out on creating my own micro jet boat. I am pretty happy with how it came out but there's a few things I can improve on.

How big is your 3D printer? I am thinking of getting one and I want to get a good size one... how is 24/ 24cm for the base plate?

I have the Ender 3 which has a 22cm x 22cm build plate. 24 x 24 will definitely be even better if you have the space for it.
Awesome job! Do you plan on putting you plans up on thingiverse eventually?

I actually have it "completed". There's still a few problems that need to worked out but due to my work schedule and other projects I haven't had the time to work on it.
Hey man, nice boat, i printed also a jet boat, the only problem i have is that i cat get my jet waterproof, there is to much pressure, i wonder if you know anny ideas how i can do it? Cause you dont seem to have anny problems.

Are you talking about water coming through the print on the inside of the boat? The only leaking problem I had was between the boat and the nozzle. I made a gasket to put there and haven't had any problems since

@@FullThrottleRC yes, water is coming through the wall, maybe wrong setting?, printed to fast ? I dont know, thats why i asked you😂

@@enginesandmore1013 If water is leaking through the jet drive into the boat, it sounds like your print is not water tight. I'm still fairly new to 3D printing but I would suggest checking your temperature as well as print speed to make sure the layers are bonding to form a water tight print. 👍

@@FullThrottleRC think it would be printspeed, did some smalker test prints and they did cerry wel, uped the speed a bid for the big one (jet unit) 😂😂

@@enginesandmore1013 I've learned not to rush prints. My original boat took 14 hours to print
1 please place it on thinyverse or please send me the files its my dream to print one of these
I hope if you explain how do the steering :)

The steering is simple. Just a micro servo with paperclip bent to form the steering rod. Hope this helps!

@@roudhatommo7140 I didn't use solidworks but I'm pretty sure it would be the same process. Search modeling boat hull on KZread and you should find the same videos I found to help me out!

I designed the boat in Fusion360 and then printed it out. After printing, I did a bunch of sanding and priming before painting it. I have a full build video on this boat as well on my channel

@@owene3270 yep I completely designed it myself. I never released the files for that one though cause I wasn't happy with it. I've been working on some changes but it's taking longer than I'd like

@@felixbaum2180 ender 3, isnt worth the extr €100, can print everything perfectly, except flexible filament, it cant print that, the pro can print it, as far as i can see, thats the only difference 👌
