To make those short filaments straighter, you can heat up your bed, then roll them under your finger until they straighten out. Makes it easier to slide both parts together if those are fairly straight.

Man i love the filament pins to hold the body to getter while gluing this is going to save so much pain it's literally the only part i hate doing and that's going to make it really easy
