Narret interesting proposal. Here is the question, would they seek to do so? I ask this because a lot of our older beautiful architectures in the world only exist because a want for aesthetic, mainly correlating to religious purposes, rather than the 'normal' way of making buildings that optimize space.

Verneri Kälviäinen I concur, we reach a level of being advanced where building technology for anything other than practical purposes becomes pointless.. as to be truly progressive and forward we must view everyone as another facet of ourself

I love 3D fractal videos, but I don't think I've ever watched one that had sound effects, and these go perfectly with the gorgeous animation!
The sound design here is perfect, it adds so much texture

Well.... it looks as though this is something I'll never be doing.... it is SO complex, so many computers..... weeks to render! OMG! You folks went totally over the top! The pinnacle! This is really amazing, stunning.... spectacular..... oh, so nice... the visuals, the music set to the movement.. camera movement..... this is just..... I came looking for info on building fractals and now I know I am always going to be a kid with a blunt crayon compared to this work. You gave me a visual and aural treat. Thank you very much!

This is the closest I've ever seen a simulation come to how surfaces actually look when ur tripping.

Just mindboggling !!!!
As if fractals couldn't get any more complex, now you've added what seems to be a hidden fourth dimension!
Absolutely amazing!!!

WOW! Just WOW! This is so ridiculously fascinating and inspiring. I'm making sci-fi game and these 3D fractals are infinite well of inspiration.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Few artists make 3D fractal videos as high quality as you do. And I absolutely love the fact that you chose to make this 60 fps. The only negative part to this is KZread's video compression, which sorta ruins some of the more intricate patterns. Do you think you could upload the original video file to a file hosting/sharing site? Also, do you think you'll ever make higher resolution videos? I would absolutely love to view some of your art in native 4K. I do understand that it would make rendering much longer, though.

Really liked the noise. Do you know any way to keep the hard shadows from moving when you do?
@browngrafix
8 жыл бұрын
+Stefan C Thanks Stefan. There's probably a way to correct the shadows, but I'm not sure how. Yeah, the MB3D hard shadows feature could really use a "rel to object" option.
@AM-ui9mc
8 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by moving? Since by default lights follow the camera the shadows will naturally move. Try set the lighter to "relative to object" if that's what you're looking for

+Stefan C I don't think I fully understand the problem
@seneral9804

Haven't tried Mandelbulb yet, but it seems to me the view frustum clips points out of the view to some extend. So when the camera moves, structures out of the view frustum that are used to calculate the shadows randomly clip and vanish. If that is indeed the case, it is a problem of Mandelbulb, it should use a fixed environment for shadow calculation instead...
Like 2K, AMAZING!!
lovley look for sure...
This video is terrifying as hell
Great animation. And in what program did you make this animation? I just look for some in which I can morph/raytraced (or animated) 3D fractals or quarternions. Thank you for your inspiration and hints and tips. Frank
