39 Problems with the Noah's Ark Story

39 Problems with the Noah's Ark Story

....
By now, you probably know that Creationist Ken Ham and his Answers in Genesis ministry are about to open Ark Encounter, better known as the Noah's Ark Theme Park.
Essentially, this $100 million park wants to convince you that the story of Noah building the ark, and inviting two of each living thing on it, and rebuilding society is literally true.
I just have a couple of questions about that...
- Where did Noah find enough wood in the Middle East to build a ship of that size?
- When did Noah learn how to build a ship? Who taught him?
- How did the Ancient Egyptians need an army of slaves to build the pyramids, but Noah just needed his three sons to build the Ark?
- How did a family of eight care for all those animals?
- Why did a loving, caring God have to kill off all but two of every species? How did God decide which ones lived? What did those other llamas ever do to Him?
- Assuming God killed off all the other people besides Noah's family, didn't he also murder a bunch of unborn babies? And if God can do it, how come the Religious Right says women today can't?
- Where did Noah's Ark go? We've never found the remains. Not on Mt. Ararat. Not anywhere.
- Since the story of Noah's Ark wasn't written down for thousands of years after the events happened, isn't is safe to assume the authors got some details wrong? The Gospel writers couldn't even agree on the details of Jesus' life, and they wrote that stuff mere decades after his death.
- Why does the story of Noah's Ark so closely resemble the Epic of Gilgamesh? They're practically identical stories, but they're obviously not talking about the same event. We shouldn't think of Noah's Ark as a story about obeying God and saving the world. We should think of it as the world's most famous example of plagiarism.
- Where's the evidence of a global flood that large, only 4,000 or so years ago?
- Because we have evidence of dinosaur fossils, we know dinosaurs had to be on that Ark, too. How the hell did they fit on there?
- Why did the meat-eating animals not eat all the other animals?
- What did all the animals eat, if not each other? And where was all the food stored? And how did it stay preserved for so long without a refrigerator?
- Did the animals go to the bathroom at all during the journey? And where did it all go?
- How did Noah's family not get all sorts of diseases with what had to be giant piles of shit building up on the ark?
- How did Noah collect the tens of millions of insect species alone, especially when those species don't live near each other geographically?
- Who inspected the insects to make sure you had one male and one female of each?
- How did they get the koalas from Australia and the penguins from Antarctica to come to the Middle East?
- And after the Flood, how did they get back there?
- How did they get all those animals onto the Ark that quickly? With all the species they needed to bring on board in a limited amount of time, and snails moving as slowly as they do, how fast were they boarding?
- How come when people draw pictures of the Ark, they never include the plants? Because there are a ton of plant species that also had to be on the Ark to survive. They wouldn't have survived the flood otherwise.
- Which animals on the ark had lice? Because, you know, those are living creatures, too.

I understand you're in favor of throwing the baby out with the bath water, but if you're an intelligent science based person can you really support lumping it all together and calling the whole thing trash? This story is obviously from a time when people were primitive and knew nothing of how weather works or had any understanding of anything further than they could see with their physical eyes. But that doesn't invalidate every single thing in that book, there are some things that are still useful. An encyclopedia from the 1950's has a lot of info that's been disproven or expanded upon to the point of the original information being invalid, but still has a lot that you could learn from.

As a child raised in a catholic household, I was forced to attend catechism. I questioned everything they attempted to teach us, including the story of Noah. This did not sit well with the nuns. They asked my parents that I not attend anymore. They could not answer my questions truthfully. And it made others have questions as well. One of the nuns actually quit the church shortly thereafter. All anyone has to do is think about the details of these stories and they all fall apart.

What reason did you dispute it? Are you disputing everything you hear? Good! Hopefully you are critically thinking about why you exist because it’s important. Are you here to build or tear down? Excavation is good and I don’t doubt it. What I do doubt are people who deny something was there to begin with. There’s a REASON for the rainbow. In the Bible, it says God put a rainbow in the sky as a covenant between him and the earth that he would not destroy by water again. So question why was it destroyed and read the answer because of wickedness in the people. My hope would be if there is a God big enough to create this world, destroy it, and have it replenish, that he can do whatever he wants, and I want to be on his side.

@@scotte4765 Hi Scott, thanks for the comment. In short, the answer to your question is 'no'. No reasonable, critical-thinking individual would accept a supernatural solution to the question of what happened to Christ's body. And to accurately interpret scripture, I believe that we must understand not only history, but culture, language, and most importantly, agenda. In other words, what were the Biblical writers trying to accomplish by their words. Only then, can we comprehend God's story. Clearly, the people talked about in scripture were primitive and superstitious, and they witnessed natural events and ascribed the hand of God to them. That is why we have a book simply fraught with fairy tales. In other cases, they simply 'borrowed' stories from more ancient cultures. Unlike some evangelicals, I am not threatened by modern scholarship. Scientific discovery does not jeopardize my faith, it enhances it. However, I DO believe that Jesus was the one and only son of God, and that he died to set mankind free, and I also believe that he rose from the grave, to demonstrate that death had no power over him. And Scott, I realize that believing this absolutely necessitates a complete suspension of critical thinking. It is ENTIRELY a matter of faith, and I am comfortable with that. Peace.

For the religious element is absorbed into the story and the symbolism.[ The author of Lord of The Rings J.r.r Tolkien Wrote this. He believed in God. Tell your parents that. I have a theory on how this whole story got started : Once upon a time, a Shepard and his son were up the side of a mountain tending their flocks when junior reached down and picked up a fossilized seashell and being smart enough to realize that it didn't belong there asked daddy where it came from. Daddy didn't know shit about plate tectonics but didn't want to look stupid so he made up a bullshit story to satisfy his kid. Like Mark Twain said, "a lie can go around the world while the truth is putting it's pants on".

do you believe in afterlife? Jesus loves you that is why we went to the cross He is risen amen! we broke God's law and out just due is death. that is why we need Jesus, for Jesus paid the fine for our transgression on the cross taking away the sins of the world. by His blood our sins are forgiven. God's gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus, but if we reject God's gift and our sin remains then our just due is death. God loves us so much Jesus died on the cross to save us all. Jesus did not deserve to die but willingly went to the cross to save us from the punishment we deserve. . its as simple as this, we broke God's law the ten commandments written on our heart by our God given conscious and Jesus paid the fine on the cross, we are guilty before God on judgment day and we are heading for hell but Jesus died to save us all. He died on the cross and by His blood our sins are forgiven. Jesus alone saves all people for He alone is God. Jesus rose again the third day death and has victory over sin and death forever Jesus is King of kings Lord of lords and Jesus alone gives life everlasting to all who put their faith in Jesus and repent of sin, confess and forsake come to Jesus and put your faith in Him and be born again. Repent from your sin and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus in Jesus Name we pray amen when you are born again, when you put your faith in Jesus and repent of sin (confess and forsake) God will give you a new heart and spirit that loves righteousness instead of sin, instead of corruption. that is a personal miracle for sin loving human beings so if you want a personal miracle humble yourself before God seek after God with a whole heart and you will find Him. Jesus said if anyone desires to come after me let him deny himself and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus, to obey His Word in for God and Jesus to come and make Their home with you, the power of God through The Holy Spirit. Considering that most diseases currently existing did most likely exist 4 thousand years ago - does that mean Noah and his family were just infected by ALL of them the same time for those viruses and bacteria to survive?^^ And then God said: "well, spread those diseases equally among your offspring and i am going to cure you. Asume you are not going to die within 10 minutes or so because literally every organ you have is failing..."

To add one more: The flood started on the 17th day of the 2nd month of Noah's 600th year. After the 1st day of the 10th month the tops of the mountains became visible. 40 days later Noah sent out a Raven and then a Dove. Neither found any place to perch (apparently the mountain tops were visible but still under water, which would include Mt Everest at 29,029 ft), BUT the Raven kept flying back and forth until "the water had dried up from the earth" (Gen 8:7). 7 days later Noah sent out the Dove again and this time it returned with a freshly plucked olive leaf. (Gen8:11). SOoooo we are to believe that after all the catastrophic damage of the 40 days and nights, plus months of being submerged in a mix of brine, mud, slurry, who knows what else, an olive tree at the top of Mt Everest revived enough in less than 7 days, at that altitude, to produce fresh leaves. Apparently also, from the end of the 40 days, until the 1st day of the 10th month (Gen8:5) plus 40 days (Gen 8:6), the waters had only receded enough that the tops of mountains were visible, YET that olive tree was still submerged (neither the raven nor the dove found a place to perch (Gen 8:7 & 8:9), less than 15 cubits then (15 cubits covered Mt Everest after the flood waters stopped (Gen 7:20)) plus the height of the tree, say 10 feet maybe? Not to overlook that the Ark came to rest on the Mountains of Ararat on the 17th day of the 7th month, which is odd since they are quite a bit lower than Mt Everest (29,029 for Mt Everest and 16,854 for Greater Ararat, a difference of some 12,175 feet, but Genesis does insist it was the tops of the mountains and Everest is one of the Mountains). So, the waters had only subsided around 12 feet in 264 days, yet dropped a further 29,039 feet in the remaining time to the 1st day of the 1st month of Noah's 601st year (50 days) (Gen 8:13) OR was it the 27th day of the 2nd month? (106 days) (Gen 8:14) when the earth was completely dry? (somewhere between 50 and 106 days to dry up 5-1/2 miles of water)

I don't accept a recent global flood, and agree that there is massive evidence against it, but you don't seem to be up on creationist literature and claims. Many YECs say that the earth was much flatter before and during the flood, and tall mountains only arose through hyper-rapid plate tectonics after the flood, which in theory undermines your argument, except that there are countless other lines of evidence against a literal Genesis Flood (besides the 39 discussed in the video).

What I wonder is: if God created everything, and he knew the future, then he knew that creating everything the way he did would lead to the situation where he'd kill about all life on the planet. So why didn't he create things differently? The only conclusion is that God *wanted* to kill everything. So he is some sort of sadistic psycho murderer?

According to the Bible, dinosaurs went extinct during the Ice Age, which ended 6,000 years ago. *Evidence:* Scientists have estimated dinosaur fossils to be nearly 65,000,000 years old. Not long ago, a paleontologist named Mary found soft tissue and blood cells, which can only exist for around 6,000 years. The dinosaur tissue was preserved somehow, and the only plausible explanation is that the dinosaurs went extinct 65,000,000 years ago during the Ice Age. This lines up perfectly with the Scriptures. Height of the tallest mountain Everest 29,000 feet above sea level. a ratio of 2/3rds fresh water to 1/3rd salt water would not only destroy the PH balance of the ocean but also the delicate balance of salinity need for specific types of salt water fish to survive. Then we have to calculate how much air that much water would displace. Would it thin the atmosphere? How cold would it be in that type of environment? what about atmospherics pressure? would the air be breathable at all?

Btw, Everest might not have existed at the time of the Flood. It might have been shoved up afterwards. So after I read your comment, I googled "is air breathable at 29000 ft" and the website said that air contains 20.9% oxygen at all altitudes, though the lower air pressure makes it feel thinner. When I read that my brain exploded, because I've been looking into flat earth theory. See, on a globe, you're right, air should become thinner. But on a flat earth, the air simply rises. The air does not become thinner higher up. This is an interesting argument that our earth is flat.

That one actually has an answer. With the entire earth's surface pushed out to the new sea level above Mount Everest, the atmosphere would be pushed out too, leaving a dense and breathable atmosphere at the new sea level and thin air at a new elevation high above that. The ark's passengers would still have a very different breathing problem, however, from the utterly inadequate ventilation inside the ark. Most of them would probably asphyxiate within days of God closing the door behind them (there being only one window, which was left closed) from carbon dioxide and methane fumes. So, outside air? Peachy, if humid. Inside air? Not so good.

An omnipotent god could certainly keep the people and animals alive, but that's the only option. The conditions inside would have been worse than what the African slaves experienced being chained shoulder to shoulder as they were shipped across the Atlantic in the 1800s. There is no scientific explanation for it. This leads us to ask: if God was going to intervene and keep every animal breathing properly, why did he ask Noah to go to the trouble of packing food and water for every animal on board?

The problems are infinite: What kind of climate did the ark have? Hot? Cold? Temperate? Dry? Humid? Was the atmosphere thin at 30,000 ft.? Normally, it's extremely cold at that altitude. Was the ocean fresh water or salty? Salt water fish die in fresh water lakes and vice versa. At the end of that year there was no life on land anywhere except for what was on that ark. All the food problems remain. And if we were to suppose that all the races of the world descended from Noah's family, that would be proof of evolution.

May I ask you something? B: Go ahead. A: Are you a creationist? B: Of course I am. When god told Noah how to build the ark he also told him that he would have to take aboard enough food for the animals to last the year. If god wanted to make sure the animals survived the year in the ark, then Noah would have had to feed ALL the animals, carnivores as well. So what happened after the flood? Did god just wave his hand and grow grass and trees and millions of food animals for the carnivores? Why then didn't he just stop the animals from having to eat and poop wile aboard the ark for a year? Besides all of this, the fact that there is not enough water on the planet in order to flood the it is an entirely new problem. It just didn't happen. The facts show that it didn't happen, and all the bible stories in the world can not change that FACT.

And your claims are based on what evidence? "we do know is you can't make something out of nothing", not true, we know that you in fact can make something from nothing. Matter and antimatter meet and annihilate each other and nothing is constantly falling apart to make matter-anitmatter pairs known as virtual particles (so called because of their very short lifetimes). Black holes black holes emit Hawking radiation, which is created when virtual particles form at the event horizon and one half of the pair is captured by the black hole and the other particle is radiated into space. It came from nothing. When we measure the universe today, we see that the sum of all energy (which includes all matter) is zero, showing that everything may well have come from precisely nothing. It did not require a cause or reason to begin, only the fact that "nothing" is unstable. "not a random accident", true, "more than just a bunch of chemicals", not true, life itself is the inevitable outcome of the structure and operation of matter at the chemical level. Chemistry is what happens when the physics of the universe creates enough types of atoms in the life and death of stars to get reactions happening. Human life, while not inevitable, is just one of the lifeforms that resulted after over 3.7 billion years of evolution on the earth. There is no reason for it or purpose to it, it just is. There is precisely zero evidence that anything in the natural world was "created". Love and care have nothing to do with existence.

+ian johnston, "did Matter and antimatter just happen to one day start everything, without any outside causes" no, matter and antimatter came later. Energy started it all, massive but equal amounts of positive and negative energy (the sum of which was and still is zero). They came from nothing without a cause because "nothing" is unstable. When we add up all of the energy in the universe today, we still get zero. Ordinary matter accounts for only about five percent of the energy in the universe and it is all on the positive side. "you would tell me then that you don't have a soul or spirit as well" yes, I would tell you that. Soul, spirit, and mind are all the same and are creations of living brains. When a brain dies, those creations cease to exist. "One area I would point to for evidence is based on prophecy." I am not sure what you mean by this. What specific prophecies are you talking about and what are they evidence for? I hope you aren't including anything about moses of jesus, neither of whom can be proven to ever have existed (along with anything supernatural). "you are put together by design, with love and care" and your evidence for this is? I see no evidence of design, let alone that any love or care was involved. I see evidence of life coming from non living chemistry over 3.7 billion years ago and evidence of that life evolving from very simple beginnings to everything we see in the world today. I see no evidence of any purpose or goal and no evidence that anything alive today has any special place in it all. "if there is no reason for human life then it does not really matter if people die because we are just nothing created by nothing which returns back to nothing, what a happy thought this is." I am sorry that you can't find purpose on your own, that you have to be told that a deity has a plan for you. I am fully capable of developing my own purpose in life and am quite happy with what I have done. Life is what you make of it and many secular people have made quite grand lives. Why are you not able to find your own way? Why do you need to be led through life? Is the purpose of your life to please a deity? That would be a very poor excuse for living from where i sit. Empathy and love, both traits that have evolved into existence in advanced mammals, are almost all that is required to have a meaningful and fulfilling life. Throw in some learning and discovery and you have a pretty good mix, no gods required.

Whats the reason?” Are we part of a plan”, a psychological insecure person doesn’t like the idea that were here just for nothing, they want an answer that appeals to them so they become attracted to religion, even some religious people who dint feel satisfied about their own religon have this insecurity that made Christianity the most successful out of all other religons in existence. check the evidences; Evidence 1: Fossils of sea creatures high above sea level due to the ocean waters having flooded over the continentsWe find fossils of sea creatures in rock layers that cover all the continents. For example, most of the rock layers in the walls of Grand Canyon (more than a mile above sea level) contain marine fossils. Fossilized shellfish are even found in the Himalayas. Evidence 2: Rapid burial of plants and animalsWe find extensive fossil “graveyards” and exquisitely preserved fossils. For example, billions of nautiloid fossils are found in a layer within the Redwall Limestone of Grand Canyon. This layer was deposited catastrophically by a massive flow of sediment (mostly lime sand). The chalk and coal beds of Europe and the United States, and the fish, ichthyosaurs, insects, and other fossils all around the world, testify of catastrophic destruction and burial. Evidence 3: Rapidly deposited sediment layers spread across vast areasWe find rock layers that can be traced all the way across continents-even between continents-and physical features in those strata indicate they were deposited rapidly. For example, the Tapeats Sandstone and Redwall Limestone of Grand Canyon can be traced across the entire United States, up into Canada, and even across the Atlantic Ocean to England. The chalk beds of England (the white cliffs of Dover) can be traced across Europe into the Middle East and are also found in the Midwest of the United States and in Western Australia. Inclined (sloping) layers within the Coconino Sandstone of Grand Canyon are testimony to 10,000 cubic miles of sand being deposited by huge water currents within days. Evidence 4: Sediment transported long distancesWe find that the sediments in those widespread, rapidly deposited rock layers had to be eroded from distant sources and carried long distances by fast-moving water. For example, the sand for the Coconino Sandstone of Grand Canyon (Arizona) had to be eroded and transported from the northern portion of what is now the United States and Canada. Furthermore, water current indicators (such as ripple marks) preserved in rock layers show that for “300 million years” water currents were consistently flowing from northeast to southwest across all of North and South America, which, of course, is only possible over weeks during a global Flood. Evidence 5: Rapid or no erosion between strataWe find evidence of rapid erosion, or even of no erosion, between rock layers. Flat, knife-edge boundaries between rock layers indicate continuous deposition of one layer after another, with no time for erosion. For example, there is no evidence of any “missing” millions of years (of erosion) in the flat boundary between two well-known layers of Grand Canyon-the Coconino Sandstone and the Hermit Formation. Another impressive example of flat boundaries at Grand Canyon is the Redwall Limestone and the strata beneath it. Evidence 6: Many strata laid down in rapid successionRocks do not normally bend; they break because they are hard and brittle. But in many places we find whole sequences of strata that were bent without fracturing, indicating that all the rock layers were rapidly deposited and folded while still wet and pliable before final hardening. For example, the Tapeats Sandstone in Grand Canyon is folded at a right angle (90°) without evidence of breaking. Yet this folding could only have occurred after the rest of the layers had been deposited, supposedly over “480 million years,” while the Tapeats Sandstone remained wet and pliable. What now?The Bible’s history is reliable throughout-from the creation of man from the dust of the ground to the worldwide Flood to the coming of Jesus Christ. But just reading the evidence isn’t enough. The message of salvation founded in the Bible's history is also true, and, God wants us to accept the gift of salvation He freely offers us.

So why didn't God just build the ark himself instead of contracting it out to Noah? Trust me, hiring a contractor can cause a lot of extra problems. The cost keeps going up, schedules slip and at the end you seldom get what you really wanted and then it ends up in litigation. If God was that smart he would have done the whole job himself. After all it should have been relatively easy compared to creating the whole universe.

Religions suck. Christians say that "We don't go by the Old Testament (OT) anymore" but where did the Old Testament "god" who condoned genocide (Deut. 7:1-2, etc), who condoned stoning gays and lesbians (Lev. 20:13) and condoned captive war women being raped (Deut. 21:11-14) - and gave them no power of consent in the matter and said they could be sent away afterwards by the man but not sold because the man "hath dishonored [raped] her"... Where di this OT "god" go to? Was he shackled to the OT and couldn't break free into the New Testament? If the "god" of the OT is the "god" of the NT then we have a serious problem because the OT "god" said he "changes not" in Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 1:1-2 is not going to give this OT "god" a makeover into a loving Father of the NT all of a sudden.

Surely, an all-powerful deity who literally created an entire universe could find someway to circumvent a 'problem' of that magnitude very easily without having to resort to blatant murder. People in charge of the ark encounter will tell you with pride about the army of contacter that spent more than five years building their reproduction of the ark... Yet expect people to believe that the original was built by eight people. Eight people without the benefit of power tools trucks to haul lumber or cranes to lift it into place. Eight people who didn't have the advantage of fast food restaurants or grocery stores to provide food for them during the construction period, so that a good deal of their time would have been needed just to survive long enough to finish the ark. Construction of the ark alone under those conditions would have taken hundreds, if not thousands of years. Also keep in mind Ken Hamm's crew constructed a building, not a boat. There's no evidence that it would be anywhere near seaworthy. Let alone all the other issues.

חסיד ישו Nope, that's a strawman and it's very dishonest to misrepresent the opposition's position. Evolution isn't at all the assertion that one monkey is the ancestor to the human species, or that it was even a monkey either. Evolution entails that the human species came into being due to evolving from an ancestor species, not from a single individual of an ancestor species, but from the WHOLE species. That's one thing. And two, is that the ancestor species isn't monkeys, but rather, that humans and monkeys share a *common ancestor* with eachother, a species from which both humans, monkeys, and other modern apes evolved from in different branches in this tree of life. What's more, is that there's overwhelming amounts of empirical evidence and other corroborating scientific evidence that confirms this beyond a shred of a doubt that humans do indeed share this common ancestor, one example of the evidence is that the DNA of humans is near identical to that of apes with only a slight difference.

I have thought of every one of these issues and others as well. Because I served in the Navy for 24 years, I know well that a flat-bottomed vessel like the Ark, would have capsized in the single ocean covering the earth. Moreover, before capsizing, the Ark would have pitched and rolled so violently that all the people and animals inside would have died. And the Ark would be a complete shambles from all that pitching and rolling. Moreover, the Ark critically lacked ventilation. Any multi-deck vessel REQUIRES forced ventilation in order for the occupants to survive. Even if the manpower existed (which it truly did not), the manner in which the Ark was allegedly constructed would have prevented anyone from discharging excrements overboard. The Ark would have also had to have huge volumes of both fresh and salt water to accommodate all the animals that live both on land and on water. I have studied zoology in college, and I know how all animal species are categorized in a system called, "Binomial System of Nomenclature." Religious people like to state that two of every species of animal in the world were not brought onboard the Ark (even though the Book of Genesis does not state that was the case). Instead, two of every “kind” were brought onboard. The “kinds” then went on to produce every genus and species of animal. But then the religious zealots are advocating for evolution, because evolution would be the process of a “kind” adapting (evolving) into all the species of animals on earth. Moreover, two of every kind would have had to been delivered to far flung reaches of the earth, not even known way back then. And there was absolutely no means of any vessel sailing that far and returning so many animals, including insects, and yes, plants as well, back to the Ark. With all the millions of species of animals on the planet, how would anyone know when they had collected the very last species on earth? There are hundreds of new species of animals being discovered every year. The Ark would have had to been larger by a factor of thousands in order for all those animals and plants (including giant sequoias) to fit on the Ark. And all those animals that live in very diverse climates, from tropical to arctic to desert to temperate, would have had to survive in Middle East oppressive heat, then freezing cold as the Ark rose to the height of Mt. Everest. And once the Ark had risen that high, the air would have been so thin that almost no creature could have survived. It would have been so cold that the pan-ocean would have begun to freeze over. The flood would have mixed salt water with fresh water, and would have been so deep that it would have killed just about every aquatic animal on earth. And yes, there is no huge bathtub plug somewhere on earth for the five+ mile deep water to recede into. Therefore, the water would still be present today. And why would a God that is always described as having “perfect love” murder almost every person and animal on the face of the planet, just because some people were behaving badly? Wouldn’t it be a whole lot easier to simply put the “fear of God” into those miscreants and the problem would have been instantly solved? I could go on and on with other issues that were not mentioned in this video, but my posted comments are already very verbose.

I’ll just address everything wrong with your first paragraph. No where does it say the boat was a flat bottomed boat. I guess you just made that up or made some incorrrct assumptions. There was a single continuous window that ran the length of the boat above the upper deck that allowed for plenty of ventilation as well as the dumping of excrement. Third you again made some false statements when you claimed all land and water animals needed to be accommodated. If you read the account in Genesis it clearly states that just land animals were to be taken on the ark meaning only fresh water would be needed. It sound like you have thought up all the wrong questions.

    # 40. Or 41 or whatever. Boats were common in the ancient world. There would have been thousands of boats at sea, on rivers or lakes at the time the flood started. And every other boat owner would have jumped into their boats, adding to the flotilla. Some of whom would have found, after a while, a strange enormous boat with lots of animals on. And, bored rigid of fish, would have thrown Noah and his motley crew to the sharks and had a feast. End of story.

King saying the bible has all answers is basically saying that every ounce of philosophy in history is bullshit, religion constantly proves how bullshit it is, god isn’t real, “god” is a notion in your mind that makes you do things, it’s a placebo effect, if you say that you do something through god then that’s just your willpower

@@King-vd2se You know atheists like him require extensive knowledge of the Bible and in science in order to create his arguments and debunk theist arguments? He likely knows the Bible like the back of his hand. The Bible cannot prove the Bible.
