Hello everyone. This is Debra. I was so excited when my husband, for Mother's Day, sponsored little Khanyisa for my gift, and for the ellies! Thank you for the certificate HERD. It is my goal to be able to sponsor each of these magnificent elephanats of the Jabulani herd. Oh my goodness, little Khanyisa with her little legs crossed. So cute when she does that! She is so content looking half asleep still eating her grass. Adorable. So beautiful to see the protection of the herd. You can almost feel and sense what they are saying to one another. Wish we really could hear at times. Just amazing elephant communication. I'm so happy that Fishan is doing so well. What an amazing bull. Oh my...you can still see the sunlight through little Khanyisa's ears. I love watching Adine and the carers with the ellies. Thanks so much for all you do for the ellies and thanks for all the videos!! What a beautiful day this was. Much love and God Bless you all, your families, and the ellies.

I have come to need these daily videos. They provide joy in my lack luster life. Khanyisa has a mind of her own already. Interesting how she takes greens, but when a change is needed she politely takes and then drops to choose something else. Also, enjoy her easy way of crossing the back legs. So adorable! She is beyond precious!

I also want to hug all of them like I want to hug my human patients! Thank you, Adine, for this sweet and calming “breakfast scene” with Khanyisa! Just wondering: What are the “rules” between elephants and people. For example, the ‘purring” sound: Does the human wait for the ellie’s purr first? or the reverse? And what about touches of trunk and human hand: Does the human wait or does s/he beckon the trunk? I’m so glad to have found you and HERD!! Joanne

It's so beautiful there, 36 minutes went so fast. BTW, when someone in our family told to hurry up in bathroom, we weren't showing dominance. It's an understanding that you can't hog the utility: need to let others have their turn. When one watches the herd using some nice sand deposit or mud hole, there seems to be a same kind of thing going on.

What a great video. I love it. It's still sweet to see that little pink body walking along among the giants.

This was a wonderful video. I loved how they all went into defense mode when they sensed trouble. Did any other wild animals appear when they sensed trouble? loved the beautiful scenery.

At about 27:31 we saw the end of Fishan, then at 32:21, we saw the end of Khanyisa. I'm glad we saw more of the fronts of both elephants, and that there was even more identification of each elephant and some history, too. We learn a lot on this video, and I hope folks have fun showing it to their children, at home and in classrooms! Oh, and congratulations on having more than 50K subscribers! I'm sure all your viewers pass along information about this channel so others will enjoy it and join, too!
