This is crazy but today I found two of these dolls at a store by the beach and found two of these dolls for $20 each bought both so freaking lucky 🍀 to come across this this gem!

i absolutely adored your review!!! yesterday i found her unboxed at an antique store (but came with the original cardboard box) for $100, and got it for $80. ofcourse once i bought her i found the same one in a beat up box for $75 lol. but i have to say that i really love the condition in which i got her in. the rubber band for her hair did disintegrate, so im trying to take out the little bits using a tweezer!!

You'll want to keep an eye out for the giftset version that includes reproductions of the "Easter Parade" and "Roman Holiday" fashions. Mattel has made several repros of the #1 Barbie, the silkstone is great but I'm also very fond of "Voyage in Vintage"; she has lemon blonde hair and is wearing a reproduction of the orange dress that's depicted on the first Barbie boxes but was never offered for sale.

when i was working at big lots, many years ago..i finally caved in and grabbed the 2010 repro of the 1964 dancing doll barbie. i was floored that the dress had a metal working zipper for closure.

The first time I got a repro doll I was so shocked that there were real metal snaps and zippers! I definitely got jealous of my mom's era dolls (not that I don't love some 80's/90's goodness).

For a reproduction she isn’t really that heavy. I was expecting a bit heavier but I am spoiled by Silkstone lol

She is a good reproduction but not as accurate as some of the newer repros. Biggest difference is the bangs (fringe for my UK friends).

One of the worst reproduction of this model. Too small hands, strange looks pupils... The body of doll tuck some strange yellow color after one year. The only positive point was the hair. The hair was pulled in over head

Agreed, she is okay but definitely not my favorite. The bangs are what really bothered me. Suppose why she is so inexpensive on eBay!
