I love Barbie. I played with Barbie as a child in the 70s and started collecting Barbie as an adult in the 90s Here are my 35th Anniversary Reproduction Barbies with more Barbies and my Happy Birthday Barbie Tree!

Thank you! I was really surprised when my mom and grandma started wanting Barbies for themselves. They enjoyed going to doll shows, the Barbie Hall of Fame, and Barbie events with me. It was really special time with them. I have most of their dolls now since they passes away, but some other family members have some too. They don't have those special memories with them like I do though. I wish that taking photos was a bigger thing back then. I would love to have photos together at the luncheons and mini conventions we went to together.
The first Barbie's I played with had belonged to my aunt. And I remember my best friend getting a Malibu Barbie so I spent some allowance money to buy a Malibu Ken to play with my Barbie so she could go on dates and get married, Lol! I think my first actual Barbie was a "69 long haired with bangs blonde. Happy Birthday Barbie!!

Awe! Thanks for sharing your memories! Malibu Barbie and Ken were awesome. We played with Barbie and Ken dating when I was growing up, too.
