This round should be one of the most popular rounds to come out in ages considering that it's basically 357 ultra magnum in an AR15 and it's also incredibly good with subs and supers, Maybe we will start seeing loads using similar bullets as say 357 magnum that can handle the fps.

I think this cartridge has a lot of untapped potential with short-barrel rifles and pistols.

Thanks for the test. I've put down a lot of hogs here in Texas with an AR rifle in 350 Legend using the 150 grain Deer Season XP, it has done very well. I have never used the Winchester !80 grain ammo on hogs even though I have over 500 rounds of it, I like the extra speed of the 150 grain ammo. I'm looking to make some sort of trade on the 180 grainers. Hornady has come out with a 150 grain Interlock bullet in their Hornady Black line for 350 Legend, would be great if you could test those. they list at 2,500 fps out of a 24" barrel, would really like to see what they do out of a 16" and 20" barrel.

Thank you for the info boss. I was always curious what 350 Legend was and what it was designed for and I thought it was just another gimmick cartridge butt I got to keep in mind that other states have some restrictions and stuff

Was testing this ammo & a few others in an AR upper last week. Every shot I took was way off target & I wondered if it was my 3-12×44mm scope or the barrel just sucked @$$. To this day I haven't had any time to properly zero it again. Gonna need to get a laser bore sighter or something. Sux, 😮‍💨

Why the 350 legend is least popular than 300blk?. They are all 5.56 case derivative and still use same bolt and magazine in same OOL. is 350 legend have some reliability issue

You can go shorter too. My 12.5" develops full velocity, might be able to go even shorter.

Great, that means a 16" AR platform is what you want if not going sbr.

Shoot the ballistics gel at a further distance with a rifle round. Makes no sense to shoot that close
