Nothing better than a bit of "Classic Nordhavn" & "Little Ship" !

You have single handedly converted a quarter million people into Nordhavn fans. Nordhavn needs to take stock of this fact. As ever, Nice Nick.

A beautiful and impressive ship, despite or precisely because it looks "modest". I am a big fan of these kind of ships, everything you need without being flashy

Exactly. I feel this way as well. I've seen a lot of mansions and nice super yachts because I'm a musician who's played a lot of rich people parties. It's always been so weird to me seeing the fancy yachts these people own and brag about, they just want a fancy boat to show off in the marina, it's not about the sailing life at all. I'd so rather have this beautiful and useful Nordhavn than most any palace-yacht.

No matter how many Nordhavns we see there is always so much enthusiasm about the wing engine and “the get you home backup”

What a bold little ship. World Traveler. Coastal Cruiser. Adventure Yacht. Weekend Runabout. Live-aboard in comfort. This boat is so versatile. Nick, you've done it again - found us a jewel sitting on a patch of gravel. Like many of us stuck on a patch of carpet - this vessel needs to go boating...

So interesting to see the origin of classic Nordhavn. These types of boats/ships will never go out of style for me. Just a wonderful boat. Would be glad to make her mine.

Classic as classic boats get. Seriously, when I saw the color and shape of the hull (the thin white line on top, black middle section, red bottom and knife like bow), I am reminded of old school ocean liners.

I love these Nordhavns. The practicality mixed with the "cabin on the seas" feel is quite wonderful. A lot of the super-modern boats and yachts just don't feel as "warm and inviting" as these proper wood cabin interior style boats.

Yessss. I get to start my Friday with an Aquaholic Nordhavn tour.

Call me strange but my first thought was “oh! Boats with a fireplace” knowing that fire is the last thing anyone wants on board! But just imagine how wonderful a stary night in the Mediterranean could be if you had an on board fire pit.

I'll never forget Canicher, though. My goodness what a glorious boat.

Nice to watch a tour of a boat I will never own that's sitting in a country I will never visit. Watching Aquaholic is as close of enjoying both as I will ever get.

A Few Thoughts: "Classic Nordhavn" - you look forward to hearing it because it's so true... When you walk in the saloon, it's hard not to notice the tube TV. Perhaps time for a $300 flat screen? And that classic Nordhavn finish is so apparent - so timeless. She's a quarter of a century old and still absolutely stunning. The cabin layout is sheer brilliance... Nordhavn makes such smart use of space - then and now. A 'pilot berth'...?!? What the... Why is this the first time, and last, that I've seen this as a feature? Why is this not more common as well??? 'Little ship' to say the least... I love the sexiness of a Sunseeker or Princess or Azimut, but there's something about Nordhavn that just appeals to my logical mind... Yet another brilliant tour Mr. B...! Cheers Mate...!

This older body style is my favorite. Thanks for doing a tour, great and very informative video.

Rewatching the Nordhavn videos. The advantage of a 90's boat is that one would be able to indulge in the occasional indoor cigarette without feeling all too guilty.

It’s amazing to see how Nordhaven’s have evolved and how the quality has increased as the years have gone by. I assume it would be perfect to cruise the world! Brilliant Nick!

Saw it was a Nordhavn video by Nick, so got the beers ready to play the 'Classic Nordhavn' drinking game only for me to still be stone cold sober at the end 😂😂! Ironic as this truly was a 'Classic Nordhavn'! Joking aside, another great video Nick and lovely to see features on this boat that are still on new Nordhavns now. Keep up the great work 😊

With the innovations that are happening, this is a great piece of history. You must feel like when you were aboard Miami vice boat or the James bond boat

Out of all ships and yachts you featured the old nordhavn s are by far my favorites. I can see my self cruising in one of those

She certainly does, have that little ship feel about her. 3,000 nautical miles, that some serious distance. I really do love the Nordhavn's. Princess is my favourite, but these are very close. Thank you Nick for bringing this classic classic little ship

Pretty much what every sailing boat in the world of this sort of size cruises at.

A very practical heavy duty mini ship. Very rugged and built for reliability and function over the sleek sporty looks of other brands. Very well thought out and as you say, this is the genesis of Nordhavn design. Thanks as always for a very informative and enjoyable tour. I always feel like I have been on the boat myself after watching your videos 😊

I just watched this a second time. This is a 25 year old yacht...or 24 year old at time of video.....but is still immaculate. This is a real theme I always see with used Nordhavn's. They are looked after over an beyond what I see in other makes.

I'd love to see more old school and classic yachts from you.

Just goes to show that Nordhavn got it pretty well right, right from the start. "classic Nordhavn" sums it up well.

A truly amazing boat! Simply beautiful and classic

This boat is 24 years old! Clearly well cared for but it holds up and speaks well for Nordhavn brand. The style holds up, durable, practical and can travel around the world. I can see this handling rough seas. Many yachts are fair weather coastal and inner waterways boats. Not sure what they upgraded over the years, but being an all ELECTRIC boat I assume it has a GENERATOR? Solar Panels? If not it needs those. Love the trawler Nordhavn design. So practical and BOAT LIKE... You feel at home on this boat with all the wood.

A 1997 Nordhavn 46 is still a very very modern boat.....and with the money you are saving over a newer fancier version, may well just be the difference between cruising full time or just holidaying :) :) :)

I simply loveeeeeee this layout it is huge space when needed and stuff are so well placed and quite well tought out,nice

Ahhh now you`re talking, a Nordhavn, what a weekend, fantastic. And apart from a slight deviation Nordhavn still putting lots of beatiful wood into todays Nordhavn ships. Love them. Thankyou Nick.

Classic Nick, classic Nordhavn = fabulous.

A fine example of what modern vessels should inspire to be. You hear a lot about how France and Greece... make some of the finest vessels, And yet these American design gems that are mostly built in Taiwan in all places is what retirement boat dreams are made from. Even as I watch the boat tour, I can imagine myself cruising to the Azores then into Europe, and down to the Caribbean.

I really love the ones that have pilot's births and day bed types in the bridge. I love these "little ship" types the best. Great video, thank you for letting me live vicariously thru you!

Crikey that must have been close to a bingo top score, surely! They do look like lovely solid boats, I can imagine punching through some horrendous weather in one and not having any doubt the boat would pop out the other side.

As always, a wonderful tour, Nick! This boat has so much to offer for the right owner. At the base, extremely practical. She’s so much to offer for a future buyer!

I know nothing about boats, found this channel and I’m hooked. It’s funny cos I’m watching this video, about my 7th and I’m sat here going “that lay out actually looks like the new models, what a classic” What do I know !?! 😂😆😂 Moving from Canada to home in 4 weeks, lived in Australia 2 years, New Zealand 2 years and Canada 4 years as well as some other bits n bob’s. Can’t wait to see the ocean and have a roast. You can’t change a tigers stripes. Think I’ll start out with a kayak and work my way up.

Great video, very entertaining. The boat is kind of like a aquatic 1985 Volvo

There is much to be said for this kind of classic styling. It's homey and comfortable, but never forgets it's a boat, out on the water, and not a static structure. Things like the integrated wraparound nightstands are a nice touch. Lots of rounded edges are another subtle indicator of the seriousness of the design. Safer in rough conditions, when folks can get rocked around a bit. You really don't want your hip or knee to knocked into a sharp corner or edge...

Love me a Nordhavn!!! Great upkeep on this one!

Used to pass this on the Hamble regularly and drool. My dream boat, she’s a beauty.

What I don't like about your Aquaholic is I see a new video and say I'll watch it and 2 hours later I'm still watching Aquaholic videos .

Dude, love that interior upholstery. Reminds me of that old 1991 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance I used to own which had navy blue button tufted leather seats like this yacht.

Brilliant tour Nick, those Nordhavens are wonderful, one of the top trawler models. She’s not looking too tired and has obviously had some serious use, been to some wonderful places I’m sure 😁

The very definition of “classic Nordhavn”. She’s had some good updates over the years. Biggest change on the newer models appears to be the larger and better lit engine rooms. Amazing machine, given an amazing Aquaholic Tour! Great job as always Nick!
