✨THE WORKOUT: 35-Minute Legs and Glute Workout (SplitStrong 35 Day 3)✨
► EQUIPMENT: Medium-to-heavy set of dumbbells. I'm using 15-20 lb dumbbells.

► INSTRUCTIONS:
Follow along with the video above. This lift heavy, Leg Day Workout is all about building lower body strength.
It looks like this:
✔️ 3 Circuits (2-3 dumbbell strength exercises per circuit and 1-2 “burnout” leg exercises per circuit)
✔️ Timed Intervals (40 seconds of work per exercise, 20 seconds rest)
✔️ Repeat Each Circuit x2 Sets
✔️ Workout Includes 5-Minute Mobility Warm-Up and 5-Minute Cool Down Stretching
►Workout Outline:
1️⃣ CIRCUIT 1: SQUATS
1) 1.5 Goblet Squat
2) Uneven Squat (right first set, left second)
3) Pivot Squat (right first set, left second)
X 2 Sets
🔥BURNOUT
1) Lateral Squat Thruster
2) 5-Second Squat Hold + 1/2 Burpee

    Took about an hour to get through with having to stop for feeding and cuddling baby but made it through! Added a mini band to the squat circuit for added 🔥 Love the Split Strong playlist - 5 months postpartum now and I keep coming back to it!     Just have to say this is my favorite workout. Basic moves, yet so, so effective. I feel like this workout is challenging to the right extent that you get pushed to your limits each time yet it doesn’t make you shiver or cringe at the thought of coming back.     I had to come back and leave a review on this video… I did this workout yesterday morning and woke up today feeling SO sore in muscles I haven’t felt in a long time. It hurts every time I stand up or sit down. It hurts in a good way that makes me feel like I do have strong legs, I just needed to find them. Definitely coming back to do this again one day!!     So this workout was not my favorite not because it was bad but because it was probably one of the hardest workouts I've done, but it is also probably one I need the most.     This was *exactly* the workout I needed to start my day! Nothing felt so challenging that I wanted to give up, yet I know I was working hard!     Oh. My. Days. The sweat is pouring, I was literally sliding around my kitchen floor doing this workout 😅😅😅 Legs on fire 🔥 I usually save my ‘ugly face’ for arm strength days, but today I was squinting and panting my way through that entire work out! 😅Power lunges with a calf raise, holy bananas!     Hey there from Austria! I'm a physiotherapist plus mom of a 1,5 years old son. Following you since postpartum and do enjoy the variety of your workouts a lot. I'm typically working out in the early mornings, when my son is asleep. Afterwards I have to sneak up the stairs, not to wake him.     🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌. Thank you for revisiting this workout! I think I had just started doing your workouts when this came out and forgot how hard it was. OMG, my legs were jelly after circuit 1, but I made it through using 20 and 30 pound weights. Not bad for a 50 yr old. I’m so blessed to be able to do these or any workouts.     This is my third time doing your Split Strong 35 program so decided I needed to push myself even harder today and front racked two 10 lb dumbbells for the squat circuit instead of just using one. My legs are DEAD now but I feel so strong and am so proud of my progress!!

    I LOVE your workouts. They are just the best since I’m not going to the gym due to Covid. I’m 71 & have had three major abdominal surgeries. Exercise is definitely a life saver & helped me recover from each.     Amazing workout!! I love leg day!! 🔥 I’m enjoying this Split Strong program and appreciate the extra mobility stretches! I still keep my remote close by to pause throughout the cool down because I like to hold each stretch for about a minute. I think I might repeat this 2 week program again and make note of any weight increases I need to make!! 💪🏼 Thank you so much for all you do! You’re my favorite! ❤️

    Thank you for another great workout! I dove into your website and found even more to love there...I am so happy that I found your channel! As a distance runner, it can be tricky to find a balance with leg days. I don't want to be so sore that I can't get my mileage in but also need enough to build strength and I felt like this was perfect. I was breathing heavy, sweating heavy (haha!), and working hard! I can't wait for tomorrow's video!

    Day 3 is done! I am so sweaty! I am sitting in front of a fan cooling down after the cool down! My hammies were a little sore since Monday and my pecs were sore from yesterday, but everything feels like jelly right now. 🔥🔥
