This is a very pleasant home. I am noticing that the current trend across these home design channels is to include entries that offer an aesthetically pleasing open unit with a few hooks and a few cubbies for footwear. For the purposes of staging, the hooks might display a picturesque hat or light cardigan if anything at all. The reality of living in a country with hard winters is heavy parkas/anoraks, hats, gloves, heavy boots that are often still wet from snow or slush as well as other storage needs. Items won’t be tastefully displayed which is why we tend to have enclosed entry closets - the "locker-style" installations wouldn't be equal to the task. This is something I encourage designers to think about as they plan homes for four seasons. A spacious, decorative laundry room or pantry is nice but the practicalities of a functional entry are just as, if not more, important. This isn’t a knock of these designs but a consideration. I love these home plan channels honestly.

Same here 🙃, I commented on this issue so many times. Many of the designs does not have any entry, which I would never understand.

For a hobby I'll come up with designing floor plans, living on a ranch myself, I personally see the value of having a handy mud room on the side of the house close to where the laundry units are located is ideal. The entryway drop off zone I think is best for guests or families with children attending schools and need a place to put their items, yet the messy situation is nice if it's close enough to have clean towels nearby while a short distance to put anything dirty into a laundry hamper. Sometimes I also think a powder room within this location is ideal, plus it's handy to keep the plumbing in a close range too.

This house says cozy, family living with beautiful details. The windows and front entrance are just great !

Nice..... peaceful and pleasant

Spacious rooms and lots of storage would describe this place. It does lack a pantry, but there's space in the ginormous laundry room for shelves or cabinets, or you can use the under-stairs closet. Because you have a bathtub downstairs, I'd have a shower upstairs.

I absolutely love this house! The only thing I would change is to remove the door in the kitchen and add a larger dishwasher and more cabinet & counterspace.

For the urban South African conditions I would say its perfect. No need for a pantry nor entrance cubicle, as groceries are delivered within 60 minutes and we dont change going outdoors.

Very nice minus the gray walls and tile, which do not coordinate well with the earth tones.

Ilove the wraparound porch with fireplaces and swings only the swings would be better if hung from ceiling as swings and not as chairs but the double sided fireplace awesome and chandelier great choice over table would have puts real antique chandelier if you had a rolling island with chandelier pin delights 4 above it would be awesome and more wood 🪵 look in the interior design on cabinet and doors the bathroom was great washrooms great but to much white inside interior you need wood to make a balance otherwise it’s great 😊😊😊😊😊

I think it's a very nice home but if you're gonna have a log cabin looking home. It should have wood installed instead of contemporary lock. I'm so sick and tired of log homes. Looking beautiful on the outside and then you go in. And it looks like a regular house boring. Make it look like a log home on the inside.

Projekt ładny - ale nie praktyczny. Dotyczy to strefy wejścia. Otwiera się drzwi wprost na duży pokój, w lecie może tak być, ale w zimie? Wyobraź sobie - na zewnątrz jest -5°C (a bywa i -20 ), wieje wiatr, pada śnieg - typowa, normalna zima. Otwierasz drzwi i do ciepłego pokoju wpada fala mroźnego powietrza! Tak nie może być! Najpierw piwinien być (jest różna nazwa): przedpokój, przedsionek, a w nim miejsce na pozostawienie płaszcza, kurtki, parasolki, butów - często mokrych i brudnych, w tym pomieszczeniu wkłada się obuwie domowe i dopiero wchodzi się do pokoju! W przedpokoju jest lustro, można poprawić fryzurę po zdjęciu czapki. Nie wyobrazam sobie domu, do ktorego wchodzę wprost z ulicy/ogrodu - bez przedpokoju. Wychodząc z domu - w przedpokoju ubieram płaszcz, czapkę, buty. Gdyby w tym projekcie znajdował się przedpokój, niewielki, chociaz 3 m2 bylby to projekt perfekcyjny!
