Hi Tim, I saw the conflicts taking place in Portland and wanted to send some love from Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. Just looked at this video and you are definitely using your gift of teaching . May GOD Almighty protect and bless you and your family.

Hey, I liked what Tim said here, I can’t recall ever having heard a sermon on this parable preached so clearly, and as far as I’m concerned accurately. Well done. Praise Jesus!

There couldn't possibly be only just over 900 likes for this video. Such a incisive, crafted exposition of the layers beneath the layers beneath the layers. But, as always, at such a 'human meets the powerful love of God' type of exposition, rather than just informative theology. Thank you, Tim, for helping me with this parable. Yes, I had been irritated by it. Perplexed. Saddened. Thanks again.

Shalom everyone. peace grace and mercy to you all. Thank you for this uploaded sermon. If any does not believe that God is the saviour of the world, no exceptions, there will be no understanding of who He is and what His unconditional love inhold. (To make a commitment to act for the well-being of others instead of your own) A chance not taken. Very inconvenient, yet very common among those who teach and preach this wrongfully depicted image of God, even today. Praise God for these faithful brothers like Tim. 🙏 May God bless you all. Amen.

The parable is not about capabilities but about our attitude toward God or his will. The third man is so prejudice against his master therefore dislike Him so much up to the point of unwilling to work or accept anything from his master; and that's the reality of our world today and the world before us; disobedience and rebellion.___ The parable also tell us something very important in the words MASTER AND SERVANT, that is a reality in which the servant is obliged to work and obey the master, and that's the order of things. After all, the planet we live in, the air we breathe, the very life we live; all belong to GOD: OUR MASTER.

I do wonder... Where does Tim get the idea from that the master doesn't throw out the last servant? And instead it would be determined by the servants choice and/or perception? I just don't get some of the turns Tim makes... In a way it's true that the actions of the servant point towards what he believes... Yet, it would still be the master that looks right through the facade of the servant and puts him where he does belong. Is it and easy thing to uphold..? No, it's not. Yet, the good news of the kingdome would get it's weight. And it needs it!!! If it hasn't got that, we would share this way less... For we wouldn't know or care less about sharing it. At least that's why i think Yeshua (Jesus) has lots of rough edges in the testaments of the gospels!!! 😅🕊️❤️😇

Ok. Tim. What one can do if a dwarf hates your family and expects you to ally against them. Is it for me to pray for him/her and forgive their trespasses against them (us)?

In the fig tree parable Jesus is speaking about summer, life, revival rather than about destruction...so I don't know how can you conect it (time of this generation) with fall of Jerusalem in 70AD. Jesus did't give the Olivet discourse to blur our perspective on end times.

Hmmmm. A long period of time hey. Is Jesus even talking about people? Is it possible he is talking about Churches or denominations or even countries? Are references to long periods of time pointing towards Jesus return? Jesus treasure is always working for the Kingdom. He wants people in the Kingdom not seeing wealthy Christians. He wants us to sow His word. The results are up to Him.

Tim NO NO NO.....the third guy is saying that his masters a bully ... Clearly JESUS always ALWAYS says money is NOT what it's about...the master is greedy and NEVER EVER brings up his faith is he even a follower of Jesus....the third guy is not interested in money especially for a bully of a master who is soooooooo rich and clearly only cares about money.....and lots of it...there's no request from the master as to they needed to double the money......he GAVE THE MONEY BACK.....HE did nothing with the money he knew it wasn't his to mess with...........in my Catholic Church during mass recently our PRIEST HAD A VERY DIFFERENT INTERPRETATION as to what Jesus was meaning.....ps giving them the profits really isn't a prize....Money isn't what is important in the way your making it to be...ITS CREEPY how you say you want to work for this guy....when you seem so humble. Your not rich you could be but that's not important to you...so why are you so down to want money

Trish Niles, listen to me. Read what I have to say, okay? This Parable is about the inheritance of what God has given us and what we do with it here on Earth. The word *Talent* is even cleverly used and adapted because it is exactly what this parable is about. Don't think about wages, or Gold, or money. Remove these fleshly things from your mouth when reading through the Spirit of the Word. Think about the talents, and inheritance of this Kingdom of God we have been given. Now, how are you going to use them? Are you going to turn your 5 talents into 5 more? Using what you have to help others and spread the word of Jesus. Even if you have 2, or 1! Will you not then flip and get a return on what God has given you, and what you have done with it in this time? Or will you be foolish, and not move with the talents you've been given. Staying neutral, not even investing it (Which is to write Him and the Law in our hearts) The Last and Third man is a lesson on how if you do not take what you have been given by God and do not use it to contribute to the Body of Christ and Fellowship of the Word, you will be sent into the Ends of Gehenna, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. *Matthew **13:50* This is followed up in Revelations again *Revelation **3:15* "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot." I pray you find the Spirit and discernment when reading, and do not take the word of men, like your pastor, etc. for face value or as the one and true meaning behind the word. The Bible says exactly what it says and means, there is no tricks. And pastors and men do not have the right to interpret the Word to their liking, like your Church's Priest did. *2 Peter **1:20* "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." So don't be neutral, don't take that 1 bag of gold, or one talent the lord has given you and tuck it away. Don't hide it. Don't leave it to sit for dust on a shelf, take it out whether it be singing, painting, drawing, acting, athletics, writing, and so on, and use it to bring forth, spreading the Kingdom of God. "And that's what the story of the Unprofitable Servant is all about."
